Long Thanksgiving weekend last year, I had a large corner room with a huge king size bed, facing fireplace. Staff fabulously helpful, great breakfast and s'mores, and I wish I could do it again! The niceties in the bathroom, the downy quilt, and the really charming ambiance of the hotel made it a really memorable experience.

We have been visiting Paso Robles for the past several years and last year discovered Hotel Cheval. After our first visit we decided we will only stay at this adorable, sweet, clean hotel. There is no need to look further. As a matter of fact, each year, before we leave, we book our reservations for the next year. With only... More

A small Boutique hotel in the midst of Paso Robles. It has a beautiful inner patio, isolating the hotel from it's surroundings. Rooms are very spacious and highly designed with a lot of attention and a very good taste. Staff was very nice and cooperative. Sadly we stayed there only one night and continued our journey.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary at this wonderful hotel. Great location, amazing service. We won't wait another 40 years to go back. The outdoor fireplaces provided a special atmosphere - loved our time.

Stopped here for a night when travelling between LA and San Fran. It is a relatively new establishment. The staff and owners are very attentive. The room was very well appointed. The location of the hotel was great, right in town within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The breakfast that was included was good, but not exceptional. My only... More

This place is so quaint down to the old school keys. I want to live within its walls. Our room was Lexington. Super cute. Fireplace & coffee maker in the room. Great nights sleep on the comfy bed. The courtyard area is perfect. We enjoyed the fireplace and gourmet s'mores. Within walking distance to many restaurants and a park. Staff... More

This is a charming boutique hotel in the middle of town. This location makes it very convenient to shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully furnished. The breakfast (included with your stay) is delicious and generous. We did not partake in the s'mores but are definitely coming back for those!

An outstanding boutique hotel one block from the bustling (well, busy anyway) downtown of Paso Robles. Rooms set around a central court yard with massive fireplaces going in the evening. Hotel is almost a mirror image of the Inn at Spanish Garden in Santa Barbara (another favorite of ours). Our room (Feathers) was spacious with a very large modern bath.... More

Our wonderful experience began with the person on duty that greeted us. The room was beautiful, clean and had the most comfortable bed. The courtyard, fireplaces and s'mores were heaven. Relaxing by the fire in the courtyard with a bottle of wine and s'mores was just what the doctor ordered. The staff was so nice. The hotel was so clean... More

We stayed at the Hotel Cheval for our “Wedding Weekend”. It is a beautiful hotel, located within walking distance to everything in downtown Paso Robles. The property is absolutely gorgeous with charming outdoor lounge areas and a fabulous wine bar.
