Hubs and I did wine tasting in El Dorado County. Looked for a place to stay. We love B&Bs. Two separate cottages behind the main house built in 1859 where Robyn the owner lives. Cottages were once buildings used in a gold stamping business during the gold rush. Lots of antiques and interesting decor. Very good breakfast of quiche and pastries. Best part was the setting with the cottages in the sunken back yard. Lovely perennial gardens, benches and fountains under very old large trees. Quiet and contemplative. Lots of grass for dogs and it is completely and securely fenced to keep the deer out so will even accommodate large dogs. Robyn’s assistant Candace was a delight. Plus she helped carry our bags up a flight of steps to our car to leave.

I love The Seasons. The hubs and I have stayed here twice now and it was nothing short of fabulous! The grounds around the bnb are enchanting, beautiful and tranquil. We stayed in the peach cottage both times. It has a little kitchen and is quite roomy-sleeps 3. The best part is the breakfast. Outstanding homemade quiche, probably the best I’ve ever had no kidding. Berry turnovers from Apple Hill and fresh coffee… So good! It’s also a very short walk in to Placerville Main Street where there are tons of cute shops and places to eat, wine tasting, good beer etc. We will definitely be back again and again. Oh and I almost forgot. The seasons is pet friendly. We were able to bring our two little dogs who loved staying there as well. If you’re going to Placerville make it a point to stay here…you won’t regret it!

Incredible service and hospitality. The rooms we stayed at were lovely and very comfortable. The bedding was extremely comfortable and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. The dogs loved roaming the grounds. Don’t pass up the opportunity to stay at a place where you are treated like family….thank you Robin for a great stay.

Just came from a wonderful stay at The Seasons B&B in Placerville. We had a beautiful cottage room with a fantastic double shower. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so peacefully. We woke up on Saturday morning to snow, it was so beautiful. The French Continental breakfast was great, and the quiches were terrific and my husband and I fought over the apple dumpling. Absolutely the most perfect breakfast. Robyn couldn't have been nicer and was so helpful as far as restaurants, etc. My husband couldn't believe when he went out to the car, that she was clearing the snow off our windshield. Talk about service. The only place we will stay in Placerville from now on.

Just got back from a weekend stay at the Seasons and I can't wait to go back. Robyn, the owner, is so nice and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were also very good with lots of organic fruits and local products.

I have to say the most amazing thing about this b and b is the garden. We had a wonderful view of the gardens from our patio, and with all the spring flowers blooming, it was really a treat. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Placerville.

We loved this place. We had our own private cabin, and the beautiful breakfast was served under the gazebo. The gardens were, in themselves, a treat, and it was an easy walk into town. I was sad that I was unable to discover as much as I would have liked about the history of the Shakespeare Club next door, but you can't have everything...

What a gem! We found this pretty much by accident and were so glad we did. Adorable place, close to town, yummy breakfast and Robyn is delightful! The garden was so relaxing and it was all so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and we'll be back!

Spent four nights in the Peach Cottage - it was perfect! The decor was exquisite, the breakfasts were to die for, the coffee was top-notch, and the gardens were beautiful. Robin is a lovely host and no detail is overlooked. Highly recommend, wish I could keep this gem a secret so it is always available when I visit the area - but it is too perfect to not tell others!

The Seasons B&B is a well maintained historic property with beautiful cabins and grounds. The Moulin Rouge room was charming and comfortable, opening to a front porch for our morning breakfast . It looks out on a flower garden and fountain with many places to sit and relax . Robyn was a wonderful resource for restaurant recommendations , shops, and goings-on around town. The B&B is a short walk to the main historic street in Placerville, lined with interesting shops, including one of the oldest continually operating hardware stores in America, which was an absolute kick to shop in. Robyn prepared a wonderful breakfast, served on our front porch, of artichoke quiche, yogurt and berries, and apple wedges coated with caramel and toasted almonds. We spent one night, and wished it was two. Definitely recommend this B&B .
