We really liked the house and the hosts. The only downsides were business apparently has been slow so a few spiderwebs around. The cleaning could have been a little better as well but overall for the price was worth the stay.

My nine year old granddaughter and I had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at the GlenMorey Country House. We shared a queen sized bed in an authentically furnished room from the early 1900's. Our bathroom was the size of a bedroom and had an old fashioned claw foot tub that my granddaughter adored. We enjoyed the unique house with...

Stayed in the Edinburgh room with my girlfriend for quick weekend getaway to Placerville and El Dorado County wine country. Location and character of the old house was great and the hosts were great! Will definitely be returning for another stay at the Glen Morey!

We were quite surprised and delighted with the Loeprich family. They were so gracious and always willing to go the extra mile. We so enjoyed the fabulous Breakfasts that were served. We were on our annual Cousins' weekend and were so glad we had chosen the GlenMorey House. The serene outdoor area with a comfortable porch area added much comfort....

GlenMorey Country House was a great place for my family. Comfortable, roomy, and charming. It is a quiet oasis. The Innkeepers were perfect hosts and provided us a great meal and a friendly home-like stop along our week-long trip. This unique Inn was so pleasant that we booked a room for our return later in the week. And we'll go...

I love to take my grandchildren (5, 6, and two 9 yr olds) on weekend "adventures." They LOVE Bed and Breakfasts so when we decided to explore Placerville, they scrambled to the internet and selected the GlenMorey Country House. We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. The house is in a shady forest of old growth pines that reminded...

When my husband booked a B&B for our trip I was surprise that the Inn allowed children. We were delighted to meet the family and the host and hostess. Our son is nine years old and he found a bit of heaven in this GlenMory Country House. We would come back again. Our room was comfortable and charming. The home...

The B&B had an old time charm that was pleasent and relaxing. The owners, Tom and Alison, were friendly and helpful in suggesting activities and in relating stories about the GlenMorey. The breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed our stay of three nights.

The plaque by the door says "Come as strangers, leave as friends." This is true. We felt like we had known Tom & Alyson for years when we left. We stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it so much we had to come back again! My husband and I love the library they provide, as well as the cozy...

This cute bed and breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast is to die for (their french toast specialty) and the hosts are kind and attentive. We went up for a quiet, romantic, no frills weekend with a touch of outdoor rustic, and got exactly what we were looking for. (An easy stroll to downtown Placerville as well)
