Found this place by searching for Bed & Breakfasts online, chose it based on all the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor, and my wife and I were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted by Kevin, who seemed somewhat surprised to see us, and he gave us the lowdown on some local places for dinner. We had booked the Boathouse... More

We completely loved our stay at Coast Guard House. With a view of the ocean and a fireplace in our room, we could not have been cozier. I like that they keep the decoration simple and clean with an arts and craft feel. There are lovely touches like a super comfy mattress, a soaking tub in the bathroom, and hiking... More

Scratch-made banana muffins, still warm with a perfect crust. Beautiful bowl of fresh fruit. Individual mushroom soufflés. That's what greeted us our first morning at this lovely inn. We are Washington coffee snobs, so we were pleasantly surprised that the coffee was delicious. Everything about our stay at Coast Guard House Historic Inn was to our liking. We heartily recommend... I stayed at the Coast Guard House last summer (2014). I was traveling with my sister from San Francisco and needed two separate rooms to sleep in, so we chose the Keeper’s Canyon. (Be sure to drive through Anderson Valley on HWY 128 (exit off 101 near Cloverdale) and enjoy its great markets and wineries.) Though advised otherwise, we drove... More

Spent two nights at the Coast Guard house in Point Arena, CA. Excellent B&B! Our room was delightful (beautiful ocean view), the service was top rate, breakfast delicious and the owners/managers (Kevin and Mia) completely enjoyable. Lightening fast WiFi (added since last visit) and for all you Tesla people they have a charging station. We'd go back next week if... More

We found this place by accident one day when traveling back home from our trip to Fort Bragg. We were tired and hungry and saw a sign for a pier and food and followed the road to a tucked away treasure. The rooms are very nice and we got one with a big whirlpool jet tub for about $100. The... Cliche, yes, but true. Lovely, romantic setting, if realistically commercial (a functioning pier), down a road off the main highway 1 bustle. Inn had nice period touches, our rooms were simple, clean with nautical theme. Delicious breakfast brought to our room, an adorable dog who came to visit several times, and a comfortable, quiet, private room with a great jacuzzi... More

We stayed here the first week in May 2014. The view of the ocean from our our bedroom window as well from our front porch was incredible. We stayed for three nights and totally relaxed. There is literally no traffic here as it is outside of town. There is a very nice restaurant that is a 5 minute walk. Our... More

My husband and I stayed at Coast Guard Historic B&B in the Surfmen cove for 3 nights. We had a wonderful cozy king sized bed and view of the pier and ocean. We relaxed, went to the beaches, lighthouse and up the coast to Mendocino. The fireplace was very nice in the morning to warm it up, but overall was... More
