End of the road privacy, end of the road quiet. A great place to relax and to use as a base to explore Point Reyes. Clean and comfortable rooms. Coffee, juice, breads, fruit and yogurt stocked in the room, and you can ask for more.

Spent two nights at the Black Heron Inn during a northern CA trip. Beautiful location with wonderful views; very private and quiet. Great place to relax and get away from the rest of the world! Accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Our hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful; they even assisted the Delta Airlines luggage crew in...

Nicely appointed room with everything you need. View is lovely. The only issue is that at least the room we were staying in there was not good privacy as the person in the room next to ours would use the deck door as her way in and out and could see us lounging on our bed. There is another door...

We were in the Grandview suite and it was lovely. Lots of space in the suite. A beautiful place to sit and eat and watch the landscape. The bedroom loft was interesting and worked well for us. We really needed nothing from our hosts who asked us a couple of times when we were coming and going. There were deer...

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Black Heron. It is different than a typical B and B in that your breakfast(s) are left in your room, you can arrive and depart without contacting the owners. Lots of privacy here. The breakfast was adequate, banana bread, nice coffee, yogurt, granola, fruit. However, we had to ask for enough coffee for...

What a peaceful escape for us. We loved looking out over Tomales Bay, and the difficult part of each day was getting up out of our comfortable chairs to have a new adventure. The Black Heron Inn is the perfect base camp for exploring the area, and everything previous reviewers said about Bill and Mamie's hospitality is absolutely true.

This was our 3rd visit to this Inn and we loved it every single time. You are always welcomed with a tasty banana bread, fresh fruits, orange juice, milk, cereals, and yoghurt. We really enjoy the views and how peaceful the setting is.

Once again my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Heron Inn. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the Inverness countryside. Our room was clean and lovely. The breakfast was great with many choices there in the comfort of our room. We especially appreciated having a "real" coffee maker to make a full...

Stayed just one night at the Black Heron Inn while on a road trip, but I'll certainly plan to return. We stayed in the upstairs "Grand View" room. It lives up to it's name with a great view looking down Tomales Bay. In addition to the windowed lounge, there's also a nice outdoor porch with the same view. A great...

We're always looking for places to stay when we're in Point Reyes and think we may have found the place. The reviews on Trip Advisor were spot on. We especially liked the gorgeous meadow view with the bay in the background, and the location, close enough to town but far enough away to enjoy nature in a peaceful setting.
