I frequently travel for both business and personal. As such, I have stayed in many hotels from the top 3 star and above chains. I am taking the time to write this review as my experiences at Residence Inn Rancho Cordova have been exceptional!
I travel to the area often for business and each time I stay at this wonderful suite hotel, my expectations are exceeded again and again. To start, Kristin Goble, the Director of Sales arranged a corporate rate for us that brought the price closer to our budget. This has allowed us to use this great property each of the many times we are up there. In fact, one of my colleagues has been staying there close to three months.
Each time I visit, Kristin goes above and beyond ensuring that me and my colleague guests are very happy and makes us feel so welcome as if we are at home. Additionally, I have had similar excellent experiences with Norma and Noel during my many stays. All of the staff go out of their way providing exceptional service.
The beautiful suites are always impeccable. The hot breakfast is always fresh and delicious. The grounds of the hotel are very well kept and perfect for walking my service dog who travels with me. Lastly, the location is wonderful, right off the 50 and Zinfandel and in walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.
This is an exceptional hotel with wonderful caring staff, awesome large suites and a superior location. I highly recommend this great establishment to any prospective guests.

My happier for the weekend. It wasn't very crowded so we didn't see many other guests. We did not use the facilities amenities. The facilities were clean however we had some problems with our air conditioning. We were probably moved across the hall to another room without any problems. There is no housekeeping service. The front desk works helpful in an issuing additional clean towels. We would stay here again.

Very efficient staff at the front desk. Explained all the parking and breakfast options. Room was very clean and mattress excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Convenient to get to and practicing good covid cleanliness. A good restaurant, the Lodge, serving American food is behind the hotel.

It was clean compared to the other hotel we looked at. I was totally let down by the morning breakfast offerings. First, I get it COVID-19 rules and issues. That said, too many hotels are using it as a excuse to not be on there game. This one is a prime example. Why are the websites still showing the old breakfast offerings? It’s not like it takes weeks to amend it to the current stay offers. Now to the review.
On checking in we were told maid only cleaned room 1 time a week. This was not a problem for us, as we were only staying here for 3 nights. We prefer to not have anyone in our room anyway but to some that may make a difference. We arrived into the room and noticed that the few extras that we were used too we not there like dish soap, paper towels, TP only half a roll and no extra roll.
I can live with that. But the breakfast offerings really got to me. Here are a few pictures from this morning. I’ll let you be the judge. I for one will not return.

Definitely below par as far as Residence Inn's go. Rooms are on the smaller side and look a bit worn but not horrible. Breakfast was absolutely terrible though-- there was no hot food on the line any of the three days I was there as all the bins were empty. At no time did I see them filled in the 15 minutes each day I was in the lounge eating. Two of the days there were no plates until someone asked nor were there napkins. By the third morning, I thought of going somewhere else for breakfast but toughed it out with a bowl of cereal (again) and an apple.
One thing to note: at check-in, someone coded my room key for a day earlier than I was staying so when I came back from work the second day and parked in the back in 110 degree heat, I couldn't get inside. I had to walk all the way around the building and get them to recode my key. No apology or anything, just took it, asked what room I was in and recoded it. I think the scariest part was that he didn't ask my name or anything, just recoded the key based on the room I said I was in.
Overall, I've stayed in worse places but won't be back at this property if I return to the area. The full service Marriott up on Sunrise Blvd is a nicer property so spring for that and I promise you'll be happier!

When first making reservations, talked with Jen, who helped with special request. She even remembered request when checked in, she was awesome. Had 2 bedroom suite, very clean, comfortable and updated decor. Pool was nicely heated and area was appealing and clean. Breakfast was amazing, I stay many nights in hotel and this was one of the best for price and food.

Very high quality place by any standard. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and recently renovated, the facilities are much higher quality than usual Residence Inns. But the real differential is the staff. Friendly, professional, caring, pro-active...the good adjectives can go on and on. A lot of 5 star luxury hotels could learn a lot about service standards from this hotel. Every member of the staff was guest/service focused. Well done! Located amongst several chain hotels in a corporate campus environment off the freeway this is the place to be In the area...would that this staff service level could be attained in other hotes with more interesting locations.

We decided to take a quick trip to Sacramento with the family and found the best hotel ever. We got a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen, two tv's, INDOOR POOL, jazzuzi, excellant breakfast and a very pleasant staff. The room had a sofa bed that my boys slept on and best of all there was a door dividing the queen bed from the sofa so we actully had our own room. They provided popcorn for the in-room microwave which the kids loved and we ordered pizza to the room so it was like a family slumber party for us. In the morning we decided to check out the breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised to find sausage, eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, juice, coffe, oatmeal, yogurt and even a make-your-own waffle station. Best of all the room was $79.99 which was the same price we found the other hotels in the area asking for but we got so much more for our money. We will stay time and time again whenever we stay in Sac.

Everything was great. Almost better than being at home. We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites and it was perfect. The full kitchen was great. Would stay here again and again. For what we got it was really worth the price. No complaints at all. The free breakfast was good too, good variety. I will recommend this to all my friends.

We booked this room for one night with our two young grandsons and we had a wonderful experience! I wish I could give credit to all the staff by naming them individually but I didn’t get names. We were checked in with a warm greeting, offered snacks to choose from a basket as well as 4 bottles of water before we even got our room key! We felt so welcomed! That evening someone knocked on our door and gave us chocolates and a nice letter from the General Manager, Terry Park, thanking us for choosing to stay there...we will definitively be going back!
