Recommend this stay for river rafting in American River near Sacramento. We had our stay to be close to the check in point early next morning. When we arrived at 9pm, we were greeted by the front desk politely and helped with the check in with all the information we needed to know. The room was comfortable with fridge and microwave, TV and hairdryer, the bathroom is spotless as I carefully inspected the edges along the tub and found no black spots. The amenities include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion along with travel size face soap and mouth rinse. There is also in room coffee.
If you have the energy, they also have indoor pool and a gym. Breakfast starts at 6:30 is perfect for our itinerary.
The only thing I don't like is they charge $14 for parking, but compared to other hotels, it's either no free breakfast or no free parking, so pick your poison I suppose.

Hotel's Favourite
We booked a room because my husband needed a medical procedure and this hotel was less than a mile away from the Hospital. Everyone we came into contact with-Sulanne, Michael, and Trevor went out of their way to help me. I really appreciated their genuine kindness.

The staff at this Hampton Inn could not possibly be any friendlier.
My group of 10 women in 5 rooms were greeted with a smile and top level of service at every point of contact.
Great value for a group.
Note - The location is a little tricky to find as the front entrance does not face the street and the street signage is all but invisible, as it is blocked by some large utilities.
A Fairfield Inn shares the entry driveway so it is confusing when you drive in. After some frustration in finding it, everything was all good from that moment forward.

The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Rooms were super clean FYI you Need reservations for amenities such as pool and gym wasn’t told at checkin and the pool reservations were at capacity. The guy/“manager” refused to extend my late checkout beyond 45 mins 🙄

Our county still has social distancing mandates in place, hence the reason for limiting access to the pool and gym. I apologize that they didn't inform you at check in. I was on a business trip to Sacramento for about a month, so I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for a substantial amount of time.
The room was great, clean, and everything was working. The room includes a TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, closet with iron and ironing board, a working desk and chair, and lots of storage space. Overall, it was very spacious and a great "home" for me for that month. The hotel is located next to a major highway, and there are a lot of eating/shopping options around the area.
The front desk team and management were always attentive, helpful and friendly, which help my stay to be more enjoyable and pleasant since I was away from family for so long. Suzanne, Trevor, and Pat always greeted me with a smile and a "Good morning," and always were so willing to assist in anything. I really appreciated that! Great customer service and customer care!

I stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago for a class I had to do for work. They had a great government rate, the hotel and room were very clean, bed was very comfortable, big flat screen TV with lots of channels in the room and staff was friendly. The room looked like it had recently been remodeled. There were lots of restaurants very close by. I did not eat at any of them because I was not feeling well. They have a little store at the hotel where you can purchase snacks and drinks and they even had chicken noodle soup there which was perfect for me. The room had a mini fridge and microwave and that was handy too. They had free breakfast and coffee in the morning. Others have talked about the hotel charging $10 for parking and I was not charged for that. For what I paid I am very satisfied. It was very clean and comfortable and I felt safe. If I had to name something negative I would say the traffic can be loud since it is right on the freeway. Nothing else negative to say.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Room was spotless! I’d definitely stay here again. They provide 24 hour coffee and freshly baked cookies in the lobby. At time of arrival, they also you a bag of snacks with bottles water. I did not want the snacks so the staff gave me 2 bottles of water without asking. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is relatively new, well-appointed, and convenient to Interstate 5. The mattresses are firm, but would benefit from a mattress pad. The power went out for about 45 minutes, though, Emergency lights came on in the hallways, but nothing in the rooms—thankfully our phones were fully charged.
Lots of noise from the highway—sounded like the Indy 500 off and on all night.

All the amenities provided were great. The pool was special us and indoor, the gym was a little small but had the essential elliptical, bike, and treadmill to get a good sweat, and weights for strength training. Also, you can’t beat complimentary breakfast lol.

The Hampton Inn in Rancho Cordova provided a pleasant and convenient base for our one-night visit to see family. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated their understanding and flexibility when we had to change our reservation the day before our stay. As pet owners, we were also happy to find a pet-friendly option.
