At first glance, it all appears beautiful. My room faced the mountains, my friends' room faced the adult pool . Both of us noticed a loud continuous noise coming from the bathroom which we assume is the venting system. I had to sleep with noise reduction device otherwise it was too loud. The air-conditioning system is also loud compared to... More

Set up in the hills overlooking Rancho Mirage and the entire Coachella Valley, the setting is lovely. Beds are luxurious, but rooms are relatively small for the price even though ours had a small balcony. The Spa is terrific; expensive but worth it. Staff works hard to make every guest feel welcome and comfortable. Dogs are allowed inside the hotel... More

We had a great stay at Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage. Great hotel with a nice location close to Joshua Tree Park, Palm Spring and the scenic road SR 74 If you want to relax this is a good place to start.

Beautiful setting hidden deep in the hills. One of the nicer properties with an amazing spa. We spent most of one day there and loved the services of course including the champagne. Overall rooms are pretty standard and conservative, but seems to be a good place for families and larger groups. Not the swanky hipster design you'd think of from... More

From our arrival, we were warmly greeted to the property. There were plenty of staff eager to help out out of our car and with our baggage. During check out, we were introduced to the "Candy Bar", this was a nicely decorated table full of all types of popular candy bars and confections. The room was nicely furnished and the... More

Light menu, good food, fresh flavors, nice views and wonderful employees, except sometimes. They remember your name. It's nice being addressed by name when first greeted by a hostess, busboy and waiter/waitress. Most returned promptly with menus, water & request for our order. But sadly some then disappeared for an inordinate amount of time. And then there are persons like... More

My wife and I just came back from a week at the Ritz. The whole experience was great except for many disappointments at State Fair. The service is very spotty and most mornings we had to chase down a waiter to get a coffee refill. Also, every morning at breakfast , the potatoes came cold. They obviously make a large... More

The service here was beyond expectations. From the Valet to the waiters at the pool, they were most attentive. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived (it was our anniversary), a great touch, thank you! As well, the valets provided excellent hiking recommendations and directions. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Our room faced... More

This hotel is the best option for Palm Springs which is 15 minutes away. While Palm Springs has the iconic name what you want to do is make a right at the bottom of the hill and head to El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert. The restaurants and shops in Palm Springs are on the low budget side. In Palm... More
