The Avenue of the Giants is a magical place! And the Redcrest Resort is the perfect place to stay right there with many big trees surrounding you. Having been built as a motor lodge in the early 1930's, the cabins have been restored to still reflect the feeling of yester-year, but with enough up-dating to enjoy a level of today's...

Great place. Came for 5 days in February to experience the giant redwoods. Cabin was well kept, clean and cozy. Service was friendly and prompt . We were left alone for the most part, having a fire to ourselves outside almost every night despite the drizzle. I would say the only downside was the standard internet speed. Not really a...

We stayed during down season- so quiet and beautiful with the slight rain!! We stayed in a cabin far away from the other cabins, with a kitchenette. It was well decorated and so cute!!! Walking distance to so many trails and to have the redwood trees right on the property and behind you is such a sight.

We had a two bedroom, three adults. The accommodations were fine, but the second bedroom was awkward, as you had to go through the first bedroom to get to it. The kitchen was poorly stocked with utensils and the pans weren't usable. But we did ask & they brought us newer pans. Also, the heat did not get into the...

I've stayed here a couple of times in the past. They have dog friendly rooms which is a requirement for me. Some cabins have kitchens and the others have a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot. Went this last weekend and reservations and check in service was friendly if not a bit over informative about policies but I suppose they...

This resort is quite small with only a couple little cabins, but they are very cute. It's a little bit in the middle of nowhere, so it's a bit of a drive to get to a grocery store or restaurants, but it is right on the Avenue of the Giants. It's definitely an older place, but it was great staying...

My husband and I stayed at Redcrest in early November, after they'd switched to winter rates. The resort is really an old-fashioned motor court, complete with wood paneled rooms and kitschy decor. We booked room #3 which came with two queen beds, a separate living area with a tv, a bathroom and a complete (tiny!) kitchen with oven/stove, sink, microwave,...

Just passing through from San Diego to Portland and stumbled upon this gem in the Redwoods. We were so surprised to see the value we received from staying. We stayed in cabin #9 and it was so cozy! We couldn't believe literally everything from how clean it was, the information that was provided, the comfiness of the bed, the temp...

We didn't stay at the resort . So I cant speak for that . From the road it looked nice . But we stopped in the gift shop . It is pretty big and has a good selection . Best of all it has a penny squishing machine .

My family and I really enjoyed this resort. We rented the bigger rental home. It was big enough for all of us and comfortable. The resort is very relaxed and the people were all nice. There is a fire pit that we used to relax after a long day of traveling. My only wish is that I could have stayed...
