First the positive:
The staff are friendly and helpful
Now the negatives:
Elevator not working
Hallway carpet filthy and very stained
Bedroom in need of complete refurbishment
TV not working (they did offer to move us to another room but as we had moved due to a lack of an elevator, we decided not to)
Breakfast very poor quality - so poor we had breakfast out.
WIFI free but too weak in the room.

Disappointing stay and the hotel is nothing like the photographs in their ad.

For the price I did not expect much and still I was disappointed. You could really tell the staff were just putting in their time and did not care. The facility was looking pretty run down and dirty, stained carpets, poor maintenance in and out of the rooms. Latches, locks, furnishing, even the refrigerators, the freezer in ours was a solid block of ice. The TV’s, were snowy and unclear because of bad cable connections. Both the pool and hot tub were cold, full of leaves and dirt.
The maid either skipped our rooms or took the day off. Yes, our group had multiple rooms.
The only time I felt there was any effort at all, was the lady providing the breakfast service seemed to genuinely care if you had everything you needed.

I got this room off Hotwire, mistake! I can start by stay the grounds around the property was filthy, beer cans and garbage everywhere. Staff was friendly. Hotel is old and they must not have any kind of maid or maintenance staff. This looks like it must have been a sweet little hotel years of past. The room was adequate but couldn't believe there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The breakfast...non existence. None of the hot items on the breakfast bar, no bacon, no eggs. Just save the effort and go to the IHOP down the street. This is suppose to be a spa, that is a joke I think.

I favor the location of this hotel, and I remember it when it appeared the plants were not all wilting.

It is such a depressing thing to see a rose bush sagging, not just one, it was all around the parking lot and up to the front desk.

I had a visit here about 15 years ago. I am not an architect, but this place was surely made well, very well.

This is some of the best air in Northern California- a mild climate they call Placer County. I return to this part of California once or twice a year. The rooms are nice, though they need updating. The staff was pleasant, and the COVID-response to dining is observed here. They do offer a lite breakfast with some fruit and a bag of granola from Cosco- I did like that.

Don't get fooled by the fancy facade of the hotel. Inside you will find raggedy carpet, dingy rooms and unmotivated employees. Fellow guests will give you the creeps (not the hotel's fault but gives you an idea of their clientele). I had specifically reserved a room with 2 beds AND had prepaid the room but lobby guy (false toupee, Borat vibes) forces me into a single bed room. First room I got was well settled in. Sheets undone etc. Had to go back and get a different room. I overheard 3 different guests complaining about various things not working (hot water, A/C or the wash basin broken). Run don't walk away from this clown show. Oh by the way, forget covid protocols. Neither staff nor guests were required to mask. I was the only person masked.

11 PM been driving all night I stopped here to meet a friend, so I called ahead and made the reservation.Never read the reviews nor did I see the place.I got here and I told my wife I don’t see any difference between this and the Motel 6. I refused to go to Motel 6 because they’re all wore out still stuck in the 80s. And there’s usually nasty losers
.$180 dollars for one night curtains are tore and ripped and hanging down, holes in the wall, the place smells musty like dirt. Are you kidding me. we went to the desk for a refund and to go somewhere else but nobody was at the desk they won’t answer the phone.it’s too late now just gonna go to sleep.
I wish I would’ve read the reviews first. Please read and Believe the reviews honest.

Had a non-refundable reservation, however they broke the contract by telling me that they did not have the suite reserved available. (One of three or four rooms with a spa, depending who you talk with.) They lied and are now telling me that they had a room available and I was a no-show. The crooked employees, are doing their best to avoid refunding my credit card. No understanding of customer service or ethics. You would be surrounded by better people in a homeless camp.

Please Do Not Stay Here!
It everything was dirty in the lobby. The carpets were filthy, ripped and smelled!
The trash was overflowing with garbage! Our room had a broken window where the top latch was hanging and someone could easily open it! Our room stunk and just musty dirt! My 15 year old son refused to sleep on the sheets, said he's prefer to sleep in the car. We got a bad feeling from the moment we walked in
We DID not stay the second night. And we never got a refund, when we told them upon check in that we'd only stay one night!!
Please do Not stay here!

The pillows are gross stained, bedding and sheets, toilet paper roll used, tub dirty, floors full of dirt, fridge was not working, microwave dirty, we cleaned out own room checked in late and wasn't offered another room. In fact we bought cleaning supplies to clean it. This is the worst experience. I woke up with bites all over me too. I told management both days they did not seem to even care.

Reservation for check in at 11-12 pm. Told no to check back when room available. I did and was told 4:30 pm maybe room would be ready. Not acceptable!! As walking to my car in the parking lot I witnessed a drug deal going down! Not acceptable!! I could not accept this place to leave my mother when I went to work.
So Not Acceptable At All!!!!!
