Detailed Reviews
After sixteen years as a flight attendant, (traveling domestically and internationally, and staying in hundreds of different hotels), I would, now, always rather stay home, than spend another night in a hotel room. However, this last stay was almost unavoidable.
Luckily, I found the "TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Roseville," which allowed me to live a little more "normally" than my usual hotel stay, with the adequately appointed "kitchenette" providing that little bit extra "hominess" for my three day stay.
Right from the start, I wanted a room change from the initial one that was given me, to take advantage of a "sunnier" view. The front desk person, (whose name now eludes me, because I'm a bit tardy in getting to this review, some five week or so after my stay), accommodated me without hesitation. She was quite friendly, informative, (as I had many questions for her about the hotel and the surrounding area), in the few hours of my stay), and "professional." Something I know a lot about, having been in the "service" business myself, with my job rendering me as somewhat as a "professional hotel guest.)
Not only was this "front desk" person great at her job, but so was every other front desk and hotel staff person that I interacted with during my stay.
During one of those initial interactions at the front desk, I had the opportunity to meet and introduce myself to the only "manager" on site, "Assistant General manager," Jorge Morales. He was also very friendly, personable, accommodating. and professional, and even had the cooking duties for the one buffet breakfast that I went to. (He was great at that, too!)
Aside from the other employees' specific attributes and qualities, it was obvious to me that Mr Morales "set the tone" for the rest of his workforce, with his attitude, demeanor, and work effort. It's that kind of "managing/leadership" that makes the difference foe many businesses, especially in the "hospitality" business!
Additionally, the room and amenities were spotlessly clean, up to date, in good working order, and actually quite comfortable. (The bathroom was so clean, that I actually "bathed" in the "bathtub" each night. And, that's something I very rarely would do in a hotel room.)
So, with a clear conscience and an unsolicited "perspective," I can heartily recommend staying at the "TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Roseville," for anyone who wants a great stay, at a reasonable price.
And, a big SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Mr Jorge Morales, and his staff!

I stayed here for one night only and wouldn't stay here again unless I planned on staying for at least 3 nights because it's a big space and feels wasted for just a quick night. Also, the doors are VERY thin and I could hear people speaking at a normal volume just walking by.
That being said, I did end up using the kitchen because when I got takeout for dinner they didn't pack any utensils, napkins, etc. They also have a work desk with a table that fits perfectly under it so we had a TON of space for eating dinner.
The room was older but seemed clean. I couldn't get the TV to work and since it was just 1 night I let it go. I could have called the front desk but my son was already asleep on the bed and I didn't want the maintenance guy to wake him up. They have free wifi so it ended up being fine.
The lobby was neat, they have snacks/water/drinks available for purchase. They have a huge wall map with local sights, restaurants etc. The staff was also really nice and friendly.

We were here for five (5) nights while we officiated a swim meet. The front desk is friendly and the rooms are clean. We had a two queen suite, which was nice because we could put the luggage in one room and sleep in the other. That was a good thing because the AC in the luggage room was very loud and clanky. We turned off the AC and closed the door - problem solved. Breakfast is the usual: some kind of egg dish, sausage & veggie sausage (which was not bad), The usual carb stuff as well. Filling and comfortable. They mixed it up every day so you did not get bored. Friendly staff. There is plenty of parking. I've stayed here several times over the year and I have found it to be a good, reliable hotel in the area.

I came in late on Christmas Eve night - around 11:45pm. The check in experience was terrible and downright disrespectful. I am a longtime loyal Marriott Bonvoy member who specifically chose this hotel because it was listed as pet friendly in the app. I was with my 3 pound hypo allergenic Shih Poo (who is 12 weeks old) Lola. We were both tired and just needed a place to sleep. I was to check out the next morning and go to my family house. I got in and was told she was not exempt from their bull s*** mandatory non refundable “cleaning fee” being a registered Emotional Support animal. The cleaning fee was $150 which which was significantly more than the cost of the room that evening. According to them, emotional support animals are just a scam and they aren’t trained animals. Also my puppy doesn’t shed and their cleaning fee is for dogs that shed and use the room as their “chew toy” and “toilet” (none of which my puppy did - all she did was sleep on the blanket I brought for her) They refused under any circumstance to waive the fee and treated me very unfriendly and like I was just some scam artist. I have a very positive track record with Bonvoy. The staff there seems miserable 😖. Worse 8 hours of my life in a hotel.

Being a high rated Hotel in Roseville. I expected better. Even on a $50 Hotel I stayed in never I had ever found blood stains on the bed sheets. With the Pandemic going on this shouldn’t have happen. Now I wonder if they really do sanitized their hotel and changed the bedsheets like they adversities. This is by far the worst I’ve ever experience. Not to mention the front desk seems to be lacking attendance. Every time I walk by someone is waiting and no one is there. One of the maintenance guy had to get the front desk the day I checked out out of the office as she was talking and laughing. I did get a new room. the same day I let the front desk know. Again the sheets were stained. Yellow. And there were little wine marks. And a long black wavy hair. At least it wasn’t blood. I was too tired to even do anything else as we had a long day being evacuated an all from the fire. I took videos and pictures. Just to prove. If ever the Management do decide to get a hold of me. Since I have spoken to 3 front desk and all they said was they’ll take notes and let the GM know. I wrote an email to the GM. It’s been two days. Nothing yet.

We stayed here for a week and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds were what expected from a Marriott, never had a problem sleeping. All staff we came into contact with were friendly and polite. Everyone at the front desk were great and provided everything we requested. The only issues were the breakfast on some days was very limited in choices and the rooms could use a little updating. But again, what was important to us was the comfortable stay.

If I could rate this hotel with zero stars I would. My girlfriends parents paid for a room for us for Christmas. When we checked in, they charged us a $150 pet deposit and charged it to my girlfriends card. In the morning, the manager would not work with us and refund any of it. They advertise to be "pet friendly". $150 pet fee is not friendly. It is mean and robbery. Will never stay at a Marriot ever again.

The very first experience with the staff was awesome and it only got better. The rooms are nice and clean and they are wonderful about loaning you stuff that you forget. The lobby is clean and it's in a great neighborhood. There are stores close by and if you grab a bottle of wine they will even loan you the wine glasses to drink it from. Did I mention the staff was amazing???? They really did make us want to use this hotel each time we visit Roseville.

Whitney, Flor, and Alec were amazing to work with. We needed around 70+ rooms for a corporate event and the numbers kept changing and not once did that seem like an inconvenience to them! They were so welcoming and accommodating. We had a couple of unexpected people show up and it was no problem they were ready. They whole team loved their stay and their breakfast!
They were very organized, they sent us individual confirmation numbers for every person, they billed us efficiently and were just a pleasure to work with.

Great stay!
We stayed overnight to go to a concert at Thunder Valley. We couldn’t get ourselves to pay $600 a night for a night at the casino so we stayed a few miles down the road at this hotel. Best idea ever!
It’s not that it was just much cheaper. The hotel is well maintained. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The rooms are nice with a little kitchen and small refrigerator. Free breakfast.
There is such an interesting quirk to the room. When you open the closet door located in the entryway and you look into the closet you see a door on the other side of the little closet room which is strange. When you are in the bathroom you see a small door which is also strange. Turns out both doors open into to the closet on opposite sides in the closet. It’s so cool - but a bit weird that someone can open the closet door in the entryway and see into the bathroom if you leave the doors open in the bathroom.
Come and see it for yourself 😀

There are your basic pots and pans, basic cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave, nice size refridgerator. There is a Chile's within walking distance. And there is also a gas station with a small store. There are lots of restaraunts close by.
Thank you for the question - yes we are pet friendly. We have a non-refundable pet fee of $100/stay for all pets. Additionally, we accept pets up-to 25-30lbs. due to the size of the room.
Thank you for inquiring. Unfortunately we do not have adjoining rooms at this property. However, the Springhill Suites by Marriott right next door does have a few adjoining rooms. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
