Hotel's Favourite
Our stay was a perfect overnight stay. Their check-in is at 3 pm (earlier than usual) and check-out is at 4 pm (later than usual). The hotel was sold out for the night but didn't feel like it. There was plenty of seating at breakfast. Breakfast was delicious! We had a studio queen room. So the room felt spacious and it was nice to have a kitchenette and seating and tables in the room. I would stay here again and again!

This property meets or exceeds any expectations that may have for the brand. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance of many fabulous restaurants and within a very short car ride of even more. The evening reception includes cold beer paired with Ice Cold mugs...and I dont even like cold beer!

The location is perfect, across the street from the Galleria and several good restaurants and gas station. It is quiet, well kept and the personnel is very polite and professional. The suites have a convenient layout and keeps the flow easy to access all areas. The TV could be one size larger to make it easier to view from all areas. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard for hotel food. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, make your own waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal and bread. Condiments were pretty standard also. Ketchup, butter, margarine, jelly, cream cheese, peanut butter, yogurt. My only negative about the breakfast was the food temperature, hot food was tepid and there was no microwave to heat it up. Drinks included milk, coffee, orange juice and apple juice.
Inspire of the less than stellar breakfast I would stay here again.
Note to self- there is parking Charge if you drive

Our stay was the end of June through the beginning of July 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have listed the problems below. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is the staff were NOT wearing face masks.
1) Supposedly due to COVID-19 there was no room cleaning, swimming pool or breakfast.
2) Our room was dirty. The microwave had a crusted substance covering the handle and keypad. The silverware had dried, stuck on food.
3) The smoke detector was hanging by wires from the ceiling.
4) The shower head leaked and sprayed water from the back of the shower head into the ceiling and bathroom.
5) There was no bath mat so the shower tub was EXTREMELY slippery.
6) On the morning of 6/30/20 I went to the front desk and requested: towels, bath mat, toilet paper and coffee creamer. I was told they would be delivered to our room. They never were.
7) Due to point 6 I went to the front desk and requested the above items. We were given all but the bath mat. I almost fell in the shower multiple times.
8) Upon returning from the trip I received an email with a "receipt" showing I was charged $10.00 per day for parking. The website clearly states the parking is complimentary. We had considered staying at the Marriott next door. It was the same price as the Hilton, but they charged $10.00 per day for parking. We chose Hilton because they state parking is complimentary. I confirmed this online and via phone, yet I was charged for parking.
9) The rooms are loud. You can hear people in other rooms. Outside sounds are very loud. The air-conditioning units are not under a window like most hotels. They are in a locked closet. They are loud and the one in the room next to ours vibrated the bed.

Gross, gross, gross! I brought a softball team there to stay for a tournament so we had nearly a dozen rooms rented over the weekend. As soon as I checked into our room I went to get a glass out of the cupboard and saw it was disgustingly dirty. So is the next class and the next and the next. Then I noticed the dishes were dirty. I opened the next cupboard and there were food crumbs everywhere and I couldn’t help not notice the smell of mildew/mold. I started to investigate where the smell was coming from when I open the dishwasher and the inside door the dishwasher was covered in black mold. I go to the bathroom to wash my hands after touching the dishwasher and sure enough the bathroom sink doesn’t drain.
They only had one person working housekeeping for the entire hotel so it took them a day to get to cleaning the kitchen, never fix the sink, never cleaned the room and when we went to check in a third room I rented for Saturday it took nearly 3 hours because they had no rooms available that were clean.
Oh and if your car gets broken into like one of the family members in our group just know they have no security cameras anywhere at the hotel so you’re paying $10 a night parking fee for nothing.
The pool is closed which was awesome since the temperature was 97°. We found homeless people sleeping behind the cars.

+1
This was a short stay 9/30 to 10/2. I had booked my room online using the App and requested the digital key. When I arrive I had been informed that they switched my room without informing me. I inquired at the front desk as to why I was changed and the only reason that was offered was that the room had become unavailable. Fine I thought. I hope the room I was given was comparable. I arrive at the door to my room and I should have noticed something was amiss when the blue sticker was not on the door. Turned on the lights and the light in front of the door did not work as well as the light flickering in the Bathroom. I decided to inform the front desk in the AM because it had been a long day and I was tired. I unpack, eat the meal I had picked up and went to bed. The next day I decided to make some coffee in the coffee maker. I open the lid to pour water into the tank and I noticed movement. Closer look and the coffee pot was filled with ants. Other issues I notice in the morning was the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par. There were hairs on the floor that were not mine. There goes that day. I informed the front desk and was told that I could bring the coffee pot down and they would swap it out. I had to get to work and told them that they could swap it out and fix the lights.
I get back in the Afternoon and the light by the room door was working, the coffee pot had been replaced but the bathroom light was still flickering and now I had coffee stains on the floor. That wasn't me, since I could not make coffee.
Mask rule is non existent here. Many of the staff do not wear masks and when I approach, it takes them a few moments to remember they have a mask around their neck or they do not try to put it in place at all.
I will never stay at this Homewood suites again. And it makes me question how Hilton guarantees the cleanliness and/or safety of the people that stay there.

We stayed at this hotel two weeks ago and it was a great place with regard to location. There were abundant eateries and shopping galore. Easy access to highway and side roads to get around in times of traffic. The hotel seemed to be packed full of student athletes for a tournament but they were well mannered and supervised. We were in town for a wedding in the Loomis area so we called the front desk to order an iron and ironing board. They also sent up sheets/blanket for our son. The doors and locks were great to side lots for parking and the front desk staff was helpful and proficient. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The configuration of the bathroom was wonderful because the shower and toilet were in private area and sink/mirror was separate and provided for multiple users.

Because I can't leave a zero rating.
The bathroom was dirty ... I mean there was a number two in the bowl and under the toilet seat!
My good wife insisted on not making a fuss so cleaned EVERYTHING with sanitizers that she brings every time we venture out on hotel stays.
We didn't stay the night and left after a few hours. The desk manager (male) was more concerned that we would want a refund than to accept that we just wanted to leave. I didn't ask for a refund!...

Over 100 degrees in our room when we arrived. Called front desk and they didn’t offer anything. We opened windows and ran the AC for hours.
We had to come down and buy water before she remembered to give us some as an Hhomors member in our 100 degree room. Windows were not locked (fourth floor) and one didn’t open.
Light in the micro hood didn’t work.
Fold away couch mattress was awful.
They did have USB ports in the lamps. The digital key worked great.
No alcohol at the on-site store and no restaurant.
You have to go through the master to get to the bathroom.
Trash collection at 7:45 am Saturday very loud. Multiple bins. Otherwise minimal sound from the halls but the layout of the hotel is awkward and very long.
We were charged a $10/ night parking fee. Even though we didn’t register a car. We had one so I didn’t mind it but seemed odd.
Remember this was at the turning point in the corona virus so times are not normal.
It rained so we didn’t use the pool or sport court.
They start cleaning up breakfast 30 minutes before it’s scheduled to end so be aware. I was able to toast a bagel at 9:45 but all the hot food was gone.
Be safe.

I stayed a this hotel this past weekend. We checked in and were advised they do not have the room we requested but only a smaller room. They did not offer a lower rate for the room so we asked if we would still be charged the higher rate. The woman working the front desk said no and told us the fee would be lower. Well today I check my bank account and see I was charged the incorrect original fee in addition to another large sum. I called the hotel now to get the charges straightened out but the woman I spoke with was rude. Not sure when the additional $$ I was charged will be refunded. Also, the kitchen and shower in our room was dirty. Mold and other black stuff inside the shower was extremely gross.
