This is a very good affordable option in Roseville. It is in close proximity to the mall. Easy access to the interstate system and to airport. The hotel has been recently remodelled. Rooms are pretty nice. We got upgraded to a suite on the top floor which is always nice.
People are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent and they serve Starbucks coffee and they make it comparable to the real stores.
The rooms facing the interstate are noisy not as noisy as the heater in the room.
Overall, a very good experience.

This is clearly an older Courtyard as the bathroom is more of a closet. The hotel is clean and the registration was efficient. On the other hand, the walls in the hotel are old-style paper thin and at 2:30 in the morning it is clear what the people in the next room are doing. I definitely will look for alternatives for my next trip to the area. For the price, you can find better. On the positive side the breakfast you have to pay for was good and they have many of the Starbucks Coffee items they can make for you.

Online request was fulfilled. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, quiet. Ample towels, two hand soaps, no other sundries because shower has wall mounted containers of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Onsite restaurant and bar very expensive. Walk a distance for restaurants.

We usually stay the nearby Hyatt Place which is five stars! but I’m Marriott Platinum and we wanted to try a Roseville Marriott. The Roseville Galleria Courtyard is very dated and while some elements have been updated much is drab and below today’s standards. The windows look original which means they cannot keep the extreme freeway noise out. Some of the hotel reviews said ‘Quiet Location’ which is obviously false and misleading. The carpet is old and dark.
Of course food service is limited in Corona times. But take has been open and hotels have cleverly switched to packaged breakfast items. And at the height of the crisis- to avoid customers touching a coffee dispenser- a hotel employee poured the coffee for you. At the Roseville Galleria Courtyard they had nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not even a cup of coffee! Nobody and nothing. Unbelievable

First, if the evening staff wasn't so nice this would be a 1 or less. This property is horrible. Mediocre clean at best. First room I was given had blood splatter on the carpet and on the wall. Second room was "cleaner" but shower head was leaking and room is just tired. I understand the pandemic has been hard, but this property is not clean.

Late May 2021, it’s 100 deg, I’m here with my kids and the “shared” pool with Homewood Suites is still not open “due to Covid”. This is obviously a lie they are telling people because other hotels have their pool open and the state has allowed pools to open for months. BS.

Stayed at this hotel in April 2022. I am a lifetime platinum elite with 850 nights and 10 plus years at platinum.
Violation of Marriott own policies
Front desk asked me to change my rate to qualify for suite upgrade to suite they had available at time of check in. In fact, Front desk supervisor Jason said they had a couple of cancellations and a suite was available. However I need to change my rate.
This is a clear violation of Marriotts own published rules regarding complimentary upgrades for elites.
Racist undertones
I dialogued with these folks via two ways. The first was via chat on the app, and then the second was in person face to face dialogue. I’m unsure if it was the attitude I was getting or the refusal to identify themselves on the chat, but I was definitely getting the sense of ‘we don’t want you here’. In fact they offered to cancel my reservation while we were already checked in, in the room while I was chatting with them.

This hotel does not honor marriotts own policies and has significant racist undertones imho.

This hotel was disappointing. There were several issues with the room: it was noisy due to being nearby the highway. Carpet under the sink was damaged. Water for shower did not get any more than lukewarm. Bathroom lighting seemed like it was out of a horror film with the dated fluorescent flickering. Overall this hotel needs some updating of bathroom and attention to detail thorough cleaning. One positive was the front desk was nice and the breakfast menu and staff working the breakfast/kitchen were very nice.

Looks good on outside, lobby looked nice and appeared clean, but…1st thing we had an issue with was the room was promised early…it was not even ready for normal check in time. Then room was tiny for King size, no microwave, refrigerator froze everything, carpet was filthy and sticky, and bathroom was worn with chipped tub and sink area was tiny for 2 adults. Fitness room was nice looking, but half the equipment did not work. Overall this place was a disappointment. Staff was hit and miss, a few tried, but a couple were not helpful.

I'm writing this review not because I stayed in the hotel but because I've been trying to make a reservation for March 23-24 but when I'm about to enter my ID info and credit card, the dates keep changing to March 16, today's date. If I was not careful, I would have paid for today's date and would not be able to get a refund! This is absolutely crazy and a mistake that Marriot, should not be making. I called their reservations person, who did not seem to be interested and just stated it's a technical glitch. Also, in the greeting, it states that the price they have online and by person is the same. However, online it was showing $170 but the rep quoted me for $225. Marriot, please fix your website and your support team.

The website states pets not allowed.
They keep their hotels very clean and fresh, in checking this hotel is scheduled for renovation in September, the last renovation was over a year ago. The Courtyard on Taylor road was just recently renovated, in April.
Thank you for your question, we are 100% non smoking hotel, we do however have designated smoking areas around the hotel.
