I had 3 rooms (1 two bedroom suite and 2 studios) booked for myself and my husband, my son, and my daughter, her husband and 3 kids. Unfortunately, we were here to attend a memorial service for my brother, but our stay here has been very good, largely due to the excellent service we have received. I am particularly picky about noisy rooms, so I called ahead and spoke with a very nice gentleman, requesting that he place us in a top floor room (I hate listening to people stomping around overhead), in a quiet room away from elevators and preferably, at the end of a hallway. For the other two rooms for my family, they are not so particular. I also requested early check in. He politely noted my requests. As a follow up, I used the chat option when checking in online and reiterated these requests. The same kind gentleman responded and promised to do his best to make it happen. Upon landing, we called from the airport to see if any of the rooms were available, and we were able to get into the two bedroom by about 1:00, and the other became ready as we were standing at the front desk checking in! Our son arrived a day later for a quick 24 hr stay, and as requested, we were able to pick up his key at 10:30am before picking him up at the airport. They made every single thing I had asked for happen!
The check in process was quick and efficient.
We liked having the extra space their suites offered, with a nice sectional in the living room area, and nice work space.
The rooms could use a bit of updating in some areas, and there were rather large gaps under the entry door, but the hallways appeared to have relatively new carpeting.
The complimentary hot and cold breakfast options were good.
We were greeted every time we returned to the hotel. The staff were so outstanding that it was easy to overlook the other things.
We have stayed twice before at the Courtyard that shares the parking lot, and liked this property much better in terms of space, comfort and customer service. Thank you for taking such good care to meet our needs.

We like to stay at the Residence Inns because of the large fully equipped units. It's so convenient to have a kitchen and room to spread out. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and Desk Staff very nice and friendly. The only thing that we wish they wouldn't do is charge for parking. Self-parking is outside the hotel (not a garage), so why the extra charge?

First of all. Nice size rooms. The breakfast was good and the people very friendly
But we had a lumpy mattress which I have found unusual for a Marriott
We had to ask 3 times before they finally changed out our mattress and their answer to why they did not change it out earlier in the day was ‘ that they checked it out and found it to be ok. So I asked if they checked it by sleeping on it? There come back was that a different mattress would be the same. Which does not say much for their stock of mattresses
By end of day they finally changed it out It was a little better Will not be staying here until they get a new rotation of new mattresses
Also they charge 10$ a day for a already very full parking lot

We had a terrible experience at another local hotel and after actually walking in and checking out the rooms in a number of suite-style hotels in the area, we chose the Residence Inn Roseville.

All the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Adrienne and Alice were especially great. We were lucky to get a room there when we did, as the next day Tahoe was evacuated due to the fire and hotels were suddenly filled with evacuees.

The room was very well laid out, plenty of room, excellent dining space, and a working space close enough to the TV to plug in an HDMI cord! Handy! Would be nicer if they let you change the input though. The pullout sofa was as comfortable as any pullout sofa (rock hard, not comfortable), and the kitchen was nothing fancy, but it really did have everything you needed for an extended stay.

We'd have preferred a King, but they only had a suite with the Queen. The bed was comfortable, and again, plenty of places to plug in. It's not uncommon, but I really wish there was a door or curtain between the sink with it's very bright light, and the bed. Gratefully the Bath/toilet has a capable vent fan, which is rare, and the shower has an equally rare wire shelf to put your own stuff in. Two would be better though.

I've never really had a "preferred property", but I think I do now. Thanks for the really pleasant stay!

We've stayed at this hotel a few times over years and have always been quite satisfied until now. We will not be back. Smallest "king size" bed I've ever seen, more like a queen. Room smelled of cigarette smoke in the evening and morning. Breakfast service ends at 8:30 A.M. They now charge $12.00 a day to park in their shared parking lot with the three other hotels on the property. So many other alternatives at this price-point. On to those!

As an Ambassador I tried to book a room and use the 24 hour policy that allows me to check in and out at a specified time.

I sent a chat to the front desk asking if it would be ok and received a response that it was not possible. I asked for a name of the individual and also the manager and indicated that I planned to cancel.

The individual never gave me their name or the managers name but did cancel my room.

Not really too upset as some properties have folks that really don’t care how much someone may have stayed in the past. This hotel will go on my list of places I would hesitate to stay and also my staff as well.

Unfortunate all the way around.

Dear Mr. Z Please see how the 24 hour reservations are approved below. Everything is done through the Ambassador service not the hotel direct. Also after looking back at your chat with the hotel the mangers name was given to you. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to the hotel. Ambassador Elite members receive the Your24 benefit. Your24 allows the eligible Elite member to request a specific check-in time for any upcoming stay at any participating property. If the requested check-in time is confirmed, the checkout time will be set for the same time on the day of departure. • The Your24 benefit is facilitated through Ambassador Service. • Eligible Elite members can request the Your24 benefit through Ambassador Service for an upcoming stay at any time prior to 3 p.m. (local time of the participating property) two days prior to arrival. • If approved, an ambassador will connect with the member to confirm the check-in and checkout times. If the check-in time approved is between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (local time of the participating property), the member can also request the Titanium Elite benefit of late checkout. • The Your24 benefit is subject to availability and may only be requested in connection with a stay. • Limited to one room per eligible Elite member per stay, regardless of how many rooms have been reserved. • If the specific room type reserved by an eligible member is not available upon check-in, the participating property will honor the confirmed Your24 request by temporarily providing another room and then moving the applicable guest(s) to the reserved room type once available Thank you

I found a towel covered in dried blood in the room. When I took it to the front desk, they took it and threw it in the trash. No apology or room change was offered. Requests for service went unanswered until the next day. I had just got out of the shower with nothing on and housekeeping walked in totally unannounced. I would avoid at all costs.

Acceptable, clean, neat, staff helpful. The biggest draw back is the air conditioning system currently being used. It's a portable unit in your room that is vented out through a window but that also creates a gap where not only hot air gets in but so does noise. This hotel has a very nice firepit in the center of the hotel outdoors. One night voices rose from 3-4 people around the pit until 2:30 am and I could not sleep as the noise was very animated.

The printer did not work so I could print boarding passes and the staff did not know how to fix it. Staff was helpful in trying to print on their printers but it took them a while to figure it out.

I’ve never stayed at this hotel and I see why. I checked in late at night and that wasn’t a problem. The night person was sweet as can be. Thank you for the hospitality and I feel bad for not knowing your name. The next morning I tried to call the front desk and I couldn’t because the phone in the room wasn’t working, so I called on my cell to no avail. I called a few more times as I was getting ready and still no answer. So as I walk downstairs around 11 am, I get to the front desk and someone is there and I asked for a late check out and for my keys to be done again. The lady at the desk Tahani said she had to ask. I’m Titanium but whatever. She was rude and wrong about Marriotts benefits for titanium’s. Maybe if she was at the front desk more or with proper training she would know… Now I see why the phone was just ringing. She never answered. I even called when I passed by and seen her there. No answer. I will never stay here again I know that for sure. I spend too much money for that.

Worst stay ever. Many amenities in various states of disrepair. Temperature in room dangerously warm. Ignored by management during/after stay. There was zero attempts to contact me and try to make the situation better, or make it right after the fact. I rarely complain, and really try to make the best out of any situation. There are a lot of other places to stay in the area and I travel there a lot. Due to the specifics of my stay and how poorly we were treated, Marriott has lost a customer forever. I will gladly forgo my elite status with them to stay elsewhere. BEWARE!
