Detailed Reviews
I stayed at this property at least 6 times over the last year. The hotel is comfortable, updated, and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. I noticed some mold in a bathroom during one stay, but this does not appear to be a common issue. Rooms are quiet, never had any noise concerns. Breakfast (for a fee) is good. One thing that irks me is that I cannot get free coffee, you have to pay for it.
Beds are comfortable, never had any issues. Gym is well equipped, but I noticed that there were some light issues during my last stay. One treadmill is definitely not calibrated.
Staff is always helpful. Will stay there again.

I had been at the nearby Sutter Roseville Med Ctr for going on 3 days. I came in to get a few hours of sleep. Eric was very helpful getting me into a room for a reasonable price. I could not have asked for a swifter more accommodating result . Eric in particular and the management as well made my life a little easy in stressful time.
THANK YOU !

Good hotel good location. Right across the street from a water park. A few minor issues we found a sucker stick (from the previous stay) under the couch, and jelly beans under the bed. The beds were comfortable. Staff was really nice. I would suggest staying at the SpringHill suites or residence inn or this hotel. I always like Marriotts.

You can hear steps on rooms above your room. Bedroom was not completely clean when I arrived. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite with 172 night stays ytd, and about to become Ambassador Elite. I’m typically welcomed in every Marriott I stay at, which was not the case when I arrived last night. Also, I had a very important business meeting to attend in the hotel, and no accommodations were available for the meeting, which is ok since I didn’t reserve in advance and it was occupied. But when asked if meeting room space would be available the following day, receptionist indicated yes, but sales would have to get in contact with me to reserve. Was promised to be contacted within 1hr., that never happened. So for business purposes, DO NOT stay in this hotel, and if you are ok with noise on the floor and poor service (low standards for Marriott hotels), I guess you could stay, but I won’t for sure in the future. In addition to this, price of rooms are overpriced at $200+ for what you get.

We have stayed here twice recently (while traveling to Roseville for hubby's doc appointment ). Last reservation I thought I had reserved the newer Courtyard (or what seems to be newer over at the Galleria). But, alas, at the same place. This hotel is in desperate need of a deep cleaning (at the minimum) and a complete upgrade. The benefit was there was a restaurant (Paul Martin's) within walking distance (about a mile). Cannot imagine why anyone would choose to eat here. Breakfasts are not included. Also, it is obvious they have had issues with people breaking into cars in the parking lot. There are a number of hotels in the vicinity, I'd keep looking.

Decent hotel, decent facilities and accomodating staff.
We especially appreciated the staff at check out. My wife has health issues and she had a flair up while we were staying at the hotel. We needed to have a later check-out and once I explained the situation to the front desk, they were sympathetic and allowed us to check out later at no extra charge.
We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good.
Our only complaint is about Marriott's reservation system. EVERY time we stay at a Marriott, we have basically the same problem when we make a reservation. I called the first time and asked for a rate, which seemed very high compared to other Marriott's in the area which are much nicer. I asked for a breakfast package, which most of the Marriott's have, and was rudely informed that it wasn't offered at this facility. I hung up and dialed right back. I spoke to another representative that gave me a rate $30 lower AND free breakfast for two. I was pretty upset and asked the reservationist WHY this always happens. She said the hotels themselves "hide" their best rates so the central reservation staff has to search for the best rate at each hotel. Why can't the best rate be given the first time and why do we have to dicker like car salesmen? It doesn't make sense.
So, when we checked in, guess what happened? The desk clerk didn't give us our coupons for the free breakfast. When I asked for them, she said it wasn't part of our package. I informed her it was and was going to head back to the car to get the emailed reservation. She then said I was right, breakfast was part of the package and she didn't understand WHY I was given this package for such a low rate. (Which really wasn't THAT low of a rate to begin with.)
All-in-all, a decent place, though I might try another hotel the next time I'm in the area just because I don't like the Marriott reservation system.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The Galleria Mall with all its shops, restaurants and department stores is only a couple of minutes away. Try to get a room on the back side of the hotel (off the freeway) and you can enjoy the view of an adjacent nature preserve. Relax in a beauiful pool or outside on a calm and pretty terrace. The standard guest rooms are a little bit cramped (dont even try to use the fold-out sofa bed because then you cannot move around at all). Decoration and furniture are bright and cheerful. Even a lot of little extras are offered, like coffee, tea, drinking water and - of course - in-room-movies. Sufficient closet space, nice fluffy towels and a good shower. The matresses (like in all Marriott hotels) are a matter of personal taste. I suffer from back pain and for me they are painfully soft: one reason why I dont stay in Marriott hotels often anymore.

Outdated, broken desk chair, loud hallways. No real "courtyard" bistro.... The spa was only heated to 90... and had black scum in all the cracks. Just don't stay here. Front desk could care less... had to wake the night front desk person... who looked like she had her Jammie's to check out. Just don't stay here.

I prefer Marriotts whenever their pricing is competitive. This place was one of two offering a special rate for a wedding i was attending .that is the reason I chose it. My room was on third floor as requested but there was no clock radio in the roo, the phone wire was not connected , the device to drain sink was not connected. All were remedied promptly when i notified the front desk...but the room should have had all that in order before i checked in. there was also a broken window pane. never experience any of that in any Marriott i have stayed at. I won't hold it against the chain Minor inconveniences ..but inconveniences.Other than that a really nice place. outdoor sitting area, near I 80, near restaurant. water coffee cookies available (sometimes not)
