Stayed for several days and had breakfast most days. Staff and service was very good. Several breakfast choices which were all great. There were many other choices for other meals, plus a full bar. Set in a nice area with many restaurants nearby. Would stay there again.

We have been staying in this hotel for total 14 nights in the past 3 months since Sept'19. We always requested for the GF room and always assigned. The front desk, house keeping, cook and the waiter or waitres during b'fast were always helpfull, cheerful and friendly. They were always tried their very best to remember what I have ordered. Thumb up for that. Ms. Luche the Shift Manager (if I'm not wrong) who assited me with the last reservation is also helpful. The housekeeping also do a good job in cleaning up the room and we always come back with a tidy and clean room. The proeperty also in a quite location so everyday whenever you drive in & out from the hotel you won't feel hectic. Well recommended when you are visitng Sacramento.

I stayed at this Garden Inn regularly before the pandemic and only recently began my monthly visit again. The biggest reason I come back is the staff who always make me feel special. I was glad to see Luchie, Frank, and the bartender still there after the pandemic when so many in the hospitality industry have been laid off.
The location of this Garden Inn is ideal for my commute to Elk Grove and Downtown with easy access to the I-5 and other major interchanges. And while the freeway is in the backyard, it’s always been quiet.
The lobby was renovated last year with a convenience store. The selection always has what I’m craving!
The food at the restaurant is so good!! The pancakes are a must have!
The pool is guaranteed to have guests lounging. And they provide pool towels (albeit, more like tea towels).
The rooms are usually great. Beds are comfortable with fresh pillows. I come back because I trust what I’m laying down on.
The carpets need to be replaced. The shower has plenty of pressure and heavy flow of hot water.

After 4 different Hilton hotels on my trip the last one stayed got me very disappointed.
House keeper started knocking on my door starting at 730 and by 1030 she already came back 3-4 times. I can hear her knocking on everyone else’s doors and talking loudly to another housekeeper all the time. I arrived late last night at 2 am and by 730 they want me out??
She is still knocking on doors while i am writing this. Very disappointed. I liked all other Hiltons and I wouldn’t go to any other hotel but this is making me think twice.

Stayed here on a business trip. Will be telling my company to look elsewhere for future travel. Front desk was very friendly but rooms are FILTHY. Dirty carpet, ripped linens, mysterious brown stains on on the linens. Took bedding off and wished for my bed at home.
A/C ran constantly but never got below 70. Fridge was warm to the touch. Had to stock it with ice to keep food from spoiling.
Wifi code didn't work and neither did the line to the front desk. Had to go down in my slippers at 10:00 at night. They sent a maintenance person up whose only offer was to defrost the fridge at 10:00 at night instead of moving me to another room or bringing in one that actually worked. This is summer in Sacramento. You cannot have an old, ratty motel-type air conditioning unit with dirty filters that doesn't even cool one room. The vent fell apart in my hands when I tried to adjust it.
The final insult? That pretty pool they advertise on the website? Front desk said it was open but sign on the door said "closed for maintenance". They didn't even know it was closed. And for the entire week? This place was worse than Motel 6.

This is a good hotel,typical nice Hilton chain with nice rooms and good amenities. It was a bit on the smaller side, only three stories, but it does not take away from it. I stayed here for four very comfortable nights. The room was a very good size with a queen bed and pullout sofa, that I did not use, so it gave me plenty of room to get ready, or just sit on the sofa and watch television versus the standard watching it in the bed. They also offer breakfast every morning, a gym, on-site washer and dryer, as well as laundry service. The only negative thing I can say is that it is a bit tucked away from everything, as far as location, but if you prefer a quieter location this will be perfect.

The front desk supervisor was amazing and super helpful. She was very helpful and super caring. The pricing may be mid-range, but the service is high quality as well as the location. I highly recommend this hotel, if I could rate 10 stars I would.

I have been traveling (due to COVID) for the entire month of January and already half of February. I came upon this hotel by chance. No real expectations. The staff has made an extremely difficult time feel just a little better. When I come in at the end of the day, I am greeted by name. Yes, masks are worn, but you can see their eyes and hear their tone of voice. It is genuine. Luchie, Diego, Aaryn, Kelly and Luis at the front desk make it feel a bit like home away from home. They take the time to get to know the regulars (those of us who travel for our jobs). The rooms, the cleanliness are all up to par, but in a world where we are separated by 6 feet, plexiglass and masks, with all the praise is going to frontline workers, these amazing people are behind the scenes making it possible and making me feel welcomed and loved. I find this hotel location to be unique because it’s close to the highway but hidden into a grove of trees which helps deaden sound. Driving past the residential area towards the hotel off of Gateway Oaks Drive gives you an aura of home life and that’s exactly what you need when you’re away on business. When I got to the hotel Luchie L. was super nice and helpful. I had booked for a day later by accident but she changed it quickly for me. The rooms are clean and newer looking with plenty of lamps so it doesn’t feel so dark and gloomy. The bathroom needs a new touch to match the rest of the room but it’s a minor detail. I got a King Suite on first floor and for a one night stay it was more than enough. Lastly, the wall painting was a very nice touch and exactly what I needed to stare at after a long day of work and travel from Northern CA. I look forward to coming back here for a pleasure visit next time.

Amazing service, rooms were clean and staff were very respectful. It was our first time staying here and they made us feel welcome. My only complaint is that the hotel rooms only had one sink to wash dishes, hands at which was in the bathroom. Other places I have stayed at would at least have 2 sinks available.

The room service menu seemed to include what's available in the small dining room (an area in the lobby dedicated to dining)...basic fare. I ordered my food from the menu but went to go pick it up

I have no idea about age limitations. I did have a comment however. A recent Trip Advisor post said that there were no restaurants nearby this hotel. That is wrong! There are two within two miles of the hotel west on the Garden Highway. The Virgin Sturgeon, which is one of my favorite restaurants in Sacramento, is a floating restaurant on the river, and is excellent.
There are more places to choose from in the Sacramento area.
