The Larkspur Landing in Sacramento is close to the 50/80 freeways and also close to a lot of restaurants as well. The hotel has a no-frills breakfast consisting of some breads, bagels, yogurt, coffee and the like. It's great for a quick breakfast, but don't expect eggs, omelettes, etc. The lobby is very nice and inviting, the employees are friendly...

DiamondTrimOC, Thank you for the great review of our hotel! I'm happy to hear the you enjoyed your stay and our amenities. I apologize for the noise, but your suggestion to request a top floor room does help a bit with noise. We do hope to see you again the future!

Lovely, friendly hotel in a great location, walking distance to a variety of shops and the American River Path. Our room was very clean, well equipped with a small kitchenette. A buffet style breakfast was supplied every morning, together with a free newspaper. Would definitely stay here again

I am here for a contract job and possibly staying here for over a month and having to pick a location that is near work. This hotel is near downtown for my commute plus has kitchen suite for survival. I don't like to eat out every day so being able to cook is a requirement. I have been here now...

This was another example of a hotel not living up to its beautiful website. The lobby and common areas are renovated and current, but the rooms were quite dated. I was specifically interested in the kitchenette, but it was barely functional due to the lack of adequate cooking equipment. If you really plan to cook, expect to ask for additional...

We generally stay at the Folsom Larkspur Landing and have found it to be not only the best hotel in the area but also a great price. We chose the Sacramento Larkspur Landing for our last visit as it was more centrally located for our visit. We really enjoy their King Suite. It has a separate living room/kitchenette and it...

I sleep in the nude so maybe if you sleep in thick flannel jammies, the down quills that poke through the bedding won't bother you, but I found it very uncomfortable. I woke up with scratches all over my back and side from the quills. Also their beds are very very soft, so if you prefer a firm mattress you...

This is a nice hotel, set back from the road so it is a little hard to find (especially after dark), but it is very quiet. The rooms and nicely appointed and include a full kitchen. We stayed here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. This time it wasn't nearly as enjoyable. An odor was all thru the building.
