In town for a Kings game, short and easy walk. Great check in, room was excellent. Even being right across from elevators it was super quiet. Valets very helpful and fast. Breakfast was great. Many options and the omelet bar was a nice. Only reason not a 5star was we went to use the hot tub and out of order, No one said anything at check in about that.

Hotel's Favourite
Impressed by the service we did get. We were traveling with a 5 month old and 3 year old and turned out we were arriving 1/2 hr. early before check-in so we called to notify the hotel and asked if our room could be ready. We were told the room we initially booked through the hilton honors app was not available but it turned out they gave us a nicely situated room on the river side tucked near a corner away from most of the noise of the lobby area. There was no hesitation in being able to check- in. The 3 year old loved the pool and the breakfast cooked to order was great. The two queen size beds were comfy and the 2- room configuration was ideal for us. The location met with what we needed and we had a fantastic time in Sacramento visiting Fairytale Town and South Park with the kids. We will definitely book this hotel again when revisiting Sacramento with our children.

Enjoyed our i night stay. Elizabeth in Housekeeping was remarkable in her willingness and friendliness to immediately take care of a minor issue with our room. Sevci - the bartender at the evening reception was also excellent- fun and friendly. Servers and waitstaff were very attentive and helpful both in the evening and at the morning buffet.

We were in town for a conference. As Hilton Diamond Members we seek out Hilton hotels for all of our travels. The staff was friendly from front desk, to breakfast crew, to lounge staff, to housekeepers. But, the room was gross. The room was freezing and while I was attempting to increase the temp the filter door opened and it was all black soot- was that what we were breathing the day/ night before. This coupled with highly stained carpets-front desk stated they were clean- no they were not!! My husband looked into a neighing room- same filthy floors- definitely NOT Hilton standards.

I chose this hotel based on the location (which is excellent, right near old town, the bridge, and the capitol), the EV charging (which is terrible), and the breakfast (which is OK). I asked for a quiet room at booking and at registration and was given one facing the Capitol Mall street. The room itself was clean, modern and attractive, but the road noise was loud and audible all night long. It did not quiet down at any point so neither of us could sleep. I told the front desk about this at check-out and was told "no one has ever complained about that before." I didn't appreciate the response and the non-apology. Why was I given a street-facing room when I specifically asked for a quiet room? I planned to charge my electric car overnight but they only had 3 slow EV chargers for the entire hotel and those were already taken. All cars have to be unplugged at 10pm so you're not going to get a full charge any way. The free breakfast is OK, the best part being the made-to-order omelettes. There is an evening reception with a few snacks and a free drink. The 2 employees I interacted with at the front desk at check-in and check-out were indifferent and could not have cared less about me or my satisfaction, but the employees at the reception and breakfast were all friendly and nice to interact with. I doubt I'll be back, but if you stay here and hear any outside noise from your room, save yourself from a sleepless night and immediately request a room change. It won't get better.

I love how homey the rooms always are in Embassy Suites. Super spacious room especially if you are traveling solo. This one was about a ten minute walk from the capital and two minute walk to shops and food so the location was primo. The best part though was just a clean and comfortable room with properly working AC’s. I can’t tell you how many hotels I stay in that can’t seem to provide a proper bed or working AC unit but don’t seem to have to worry about that in Embassy Suites so shout out to whoever does that maintenance as well.

The Bad: Horrible parking situation! The valet was closed at 6pm..... and garage across the street was full but still letting cars in saying good luck finding a spot..... Even to get to the garage if you are coming out of hotel entrance with a car there is no u turn for like 4 blocks. Also the garage charged $10 extra on top of the daily rate due to weekend.... Trains running every hour that the pedestrian/street crossing is right next to hotel so they blow their horns really loud waking you up if you have river view room. Insulation of hotel for noise is limited and you can hear everything from the lobby. The good: Very large clean room. Great location for if you are walking or dont have a car. I would not recommend this place on a weekend. It's too crowded due to being a tourist trap location of Old Town Sacramento. Overall not impressed with the property but it was very clean which I did like 😊

I was expecting a pared down bare bones hotel experience. Wow, was I ever wrong! A very quiet, clean spacious set of rooms with kitchenette, sitting area, work table and a king size bed and large screen TV. The bathroom was great too. I couldn’t have asked for more and I felt perfectly safe. I slept soundly; and the wake up call and courtesy ride to the airport were just what I needed. I left too early for breakfast but the desk staff were helpful and friendly. A+ all the way.

Overall, I liked it a lot, especially compared to other hotels in the Golden 1 area. It’s definitely the best hotel in the Golden 1 / Old Town area. The rooms and facility appear to be newly renovated. Parking is valet only. However, the parking is underground……. where one doesn’t have to worry about it getting broken into. Location is between the 5 and the river, right next to Old Town and a 10-minute walk from the Golden One Center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean. The room was comfortable and not loud. The room was cleaned every day without having to request it. This Embassy Suites has the features as most Embassy Suites….. free breakfast, large open community space, free drinks and snacks in the evening, and each room having a suite. Unfortunately, the gym, like most Embassy Suites is small, however, due to its location next to the river, I ran along the scenic riverside running trail instead. Also, it was a tad more pricey than other Embassy Suites.
