I stayed at this hotel for almost two weeks for a business trip. My room on the third floor was quiet and comfortable, although I prefer a firmer bed. I appreciated the individual thermostat, coffee maker, fridge and the white noise machine. The bathroom had good lighting, the shower has good pressure, and bath products were nice, although it was very hard to read the labels on the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower. The fitness center was small but clean. Although I chose not to have my room cleaned every day, the crew were very friendly and gave me fresh coffee packets and towels whenever I asked. I used the laundry facility once, and it appeared the machines were clean and well-maintained. The front-desk staff were very nice. The coffee shop staff were very nice, but I thought the food was very expensive - almost $4 for a medium drip coffee and $9 for a yogurt/granola cup. There is plenty of free parking, and the hotel is an easy drive from the airport and downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in December and January due to our home being worked on. Very nice each time. Very quiet room. Very few amenities due to COVID but you deal with it. Bag breakfast each morning was nice as I had to leave early to meet workers to let them in the house.

Did not use the pool, too cold. Took long walks around the mall about a mile or so away.

Coming back in late February or early March as we have water damage in our home and need a place to stay, again. Hoping for a quiet room again.

All the staff were above and beyond in terms of courtesy and willing to meet any need we had from a fresh set of towels to picking up the room after several days. We will be staying again as I mentioned above. Front desk staff were very accommodating in every way.

We were evacuated from the czu fire while I was also scheduled to take my CA real estate exam. Needless to say, this was a very stressful time! I was calling around to find a place to stay when Myeisha answered the phone. She was professional, warm, engaging and the ray of sunshine I needed to hear on the other end of the phone! I ended up having to call a few times because I kept forgetting to ask questions, and it felt like I was calling someone who genuinely wanted to help(which she did!) I just wanted the Coutyard Marriott to know what an amazing asset they have with Myeisha, and I hope that they value her and take care of her as the exceptional employee that she is!!

We booked a last minute stay and though we are grateful for service of the front desk, we are horrified by the conditions of our room. We found a live cockroach(!!!) black mold stains on the ceilings, dirty bathroom, used socks in the drawers, a live cockroach, and most horrifying was the filthy sheets, and they didn’t replenish the bathroom. They only had two towels!

We got new bedding at 10 pm but it was hastily folded and we are unsure if it was even clean since there were crumbs on that too. We had to ask for another bed set for the other bed and the man seemed utterly annoyed and angry for the inconvenience.

Our bedding had hair, fresh lip stick stains and black crumbs all over our bed. I couldn’t believe they would give us a room that was not cleaned.

This location should be investigated for unethical and unsanitary conditions.

We stayed on June 19-20 in room #304

Pleasant front desk staff. Room is large and fairly quiet. Room challenges: bathroom missing hand towels, wash cloths, tissues, trashcan; toilet running (not fixed during my stay) and both bathroom and kitchen sink faucets leaking. Bathroom shelf nearly detached from wall; dishwasher not attached to counter frame; TV not working. Room not very clean--dead moth and flies around perimeter, and no housekeeping during stay. Cigarette butts by the hundreds on walkways. Easily the worst Marriott-branded property I've ever stayed in.

This is my second time writing this review. The previous one was deleted. I guess we can’t speak the truth about our experiences? Let’s try it again…

We were passing through and chose to stay again as our first time the year prior was a good one. As we had just spoken to friends who experienced a hotel with the dreaded bedb___ (written this way to not trigger TripAdvisor’s deletion of review policy), I opted to check the mattresses before allowing everyone to lay down. I kinda wish I hadn’t! The mattress had old bloodstains as did the bedskirt. I asked for a room change but there was nothing available. I asked to have housekeeping come up and change out everything on the bed. Housekeeping showed up about 30 minutes later and plopped the new bedding down on the chair and walked out. Apparently, it’s not her job to change sheets at that hour. After driving 10 hours with three kids, I got to strip the bed, the bedskirt and remake the bed after 10:00 at night.

Not impressed, Marriott. It was a huge disappointment (not to mention a health hazard), especially in comparison to the amazing experience at Towneplace Suites Irvine/Lake Forest and The Westin Anaheim. Do better.

Dear VirginiaPartyof5, I sincerely apologize for the stains on the mattress and bed skirting. I have shared your review with our director of housekeeping, and she will be speaking with both the housekeeper who brought you the sheets and the room inspector. I'm terribly disappointed the housekeeper did not offer to make the bed for you. I certainly appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention so we may address it directly with our staff in a timely manner. Thank you again,

This facility is fine. The only issue is that they have NO housekeeping unless you are staying more than 3 nights. If you want restocking, you have to go to the front desk and ask for each item.

The excuse is COVID and worker safety. Somehow, the other hotels don’t agree and I’m sure that their laid-off housekeepers would not agree either.

Thank you for your feedback. Due to COVID - hotel properties are trying to limit the exposure that can be caused when entering into hotel rooms. This is to both protect our guest's and our staff. Items can be requested via the phone in the room and by coming to the front desk. I hope you understand our concern in providing a safe environment for everyone.

I called because the website says to specifically call as a healthcare worker. The representative said that it has to go through sales department and had no knowledge of price difference, what qualifies, etc. that office is only available Mon-Fri. I would like to know if it is better to use my points instead which needs to book with some notice. Front desk should be made more aware of the hotel’s individual policies, especially if that’s where the website redirects you to.

Next to railroad tracks, so loud train horns every hour all night long kept waking me up. Hallway carpet is filthy, looks like they don't bother to vacuum or clean it. Elevator is slow and rickety. Check out time is 11 am, you must sign an agreement that you'll be charged $25/hour if you go over. I called front desk to request 11:15 check out, they said fine. I went down to load my car at 11 am, but when I tried to get back into the hotel at 11:02 to get the rest of my luggage, they had locked me out! I sure didn't appreciate their rudeness.

The staff was amazing and very friendly . I was in town for a conference and one of the front staff members named Haley was super helpful . The first day I was running a little late and I asked if they could hold my bags in the front while I rushed over to my meeting and she was really accommodating to my odd request . Later in the afternoon I met another very friendly staff member named Cynthia , she was also welcoming and gave me a couple good recommendations for food and entertainment in the area . Overall Haley and Cynthia made my trip more memorable because of how kind they were . I will most definitely stay here again .

Yes there should be. The Courtyard is part of a complex of other Marriot properties. When you say standard truck, I am assuming you mean a pick up and not an 18 wheeler or box truck. If its the latter I would suggest calling the place to make sure you can do that.
