I love this hotel and the staff...the staff make up for any upgrades that people may think the property needs. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping staff they are very attentive to guest needs.

The room was generous size, with a small balcony. The bathroom was clean, but a bit outdated and a quite shallow tub. The breakfast was a generous buffet, with a good selection, even gluten free bread on request. Plenty of parking.

The check in process was very poor. Pillows are small, uncomfortable, and not consistent with any other Doubletree. My room had ants & spiders in it, and the staff could care less. I travel weekly, and Hilton is my preferred hotel brand. However, I don't recommend this one!

This is an older hotel, which is fine, but the carpeting needs to be replaced and the air conditioners need to be repaired or replaced. I always get the best service at this Doubletree in Sacramento. The karaoke nights are so fun with its regulars. You can count on chef Charlie making delicious meals and the service is always friendly

Room was outdated, it was smelly, coffee maker didn't work no microwave Staff was nice but really nothing else. I asked for Microwave, but staff said they are out of them. The internet didn't work at first and then they fixed that problem.

Hotel staff and accommodations are extremely lacking and not up to the level of other Double Tree locations. The hotel smelled horribly throughout and the staff consistently had an attitude. The location being across from the mall was not entirely bad but I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone.
