My boyfriend and I were in the Napa area for a friend's dinner. We needed a place to stay just for one night on a Saturday. The El Bonita was one of the few places that allowed for a one night stay. It was truly a great find and a great value. We got a basic queen room with a...

This was perfect for us, convenient, affordable, clean and spacious. Went in winter so we can't report on the pool, but the folk at reception were kind and courteous, and the room was lovely. Squeaky clean, huge tub, and nice view into a back patio. We'll be back - this trip we went hiking and wine tasting at Frogs Leap...

We stayed two nights at the El Bonita, and were there for a conference at the Culinary Institute of America. The hotel itself is quite quaint, and the Trip Advisor photos do not really do the hotel justice. Actually, the photos on the hotel website are more representative of what to expect. Overall the space is large, and fairly clean....

St. Helena is known for their Bed and Breakfasts and 5 Star Hotels with a price tag to match their quality and service. What you get at El Bonita Motel is a simple room. A simple continental breakfast. All at a very reasonable price. They offer a variety of rooms depending on your needs. Need 2 bedrooms and a living...

El Bonita is great value for money and a very comfortable place to stay to explore the Napa. The rooms are ample and have all the amenities without having to pay the prices of most places in the area. I recommend as the place to stay. It is some distance from the centre of town so a car is a...

If you are tired of the hotel chains and seek a bit of local flavor where you stay--at a reasonable rate with very nice people and rooms and amenities--this is your place. Yes, some "poolside" rooms are close to the road, but we suggest you get a "Garden Room" around the rear of the property if this is a concern....

In the heart of the wine country you are located at the edge of town with reasonable rates. Its not the greatest and newest but if you are on a budget its perfect. Clean, happy employees, and surprisingly, fun. I like its location to the greatest wineries in the world. Virtually outside the door. Plenty to do in the area...

Don't judge by the reviews that you have read! This place was friendly, and clean and rooms are well furnished! I saw not one bug! As for the noise that some reviews mentioned, we didn't even notice! We had the rooms closest to the road and unless you really stayed quiet, you really wouldn't think of it! Pool and Jacuzzi...

A lovely hotel in the middle of the wine country. The rooms were wonderfully furnished and you just felt that you could relax and enjoy the ambiance. In addition to being close to wineries El Bonita is also close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend El Bonita Motel.

We came home from three weeks abroad to find the plumbing not working at our St Helena home. We quickly called El Bonita, where we've sent guests for the 15 years we've lived here. We explained our situation and they immediately offered a reduced rate. A very gracious Hunter checked us in,but we slept restlessly due to jet lag. I...
