We stayed there for 2 days and had room 17 with balcony. It was lovely but unfortunately it was beside the hotel laundry which gave quite some noice when sitting and enjoying our wine on the balcony. Also there was a lot of noice from the neighbours ( construction and fieldwork ). The room/hotel is too expensive considering the noice.

Thank you for your comments. We learn a lot from our guests. I will review our policies about the use of our laundry. The staff has instructions not to use that laundry room after 4:00 PM for just that reason. As for the neighbor's construction I think they are finally done. That will be a relief for all of us....

The location, personnel, and food were all five star worthy. The reason for the four stars is the poor quality of the mattress we had. It was very uncomfortable and left both of us wishing for our own bed. The location is very convenient to wineries and wonderful restaurants and they provide shuttle service to the St. Helena and Rutherford...

Thanks for all your compliments even when your stay was not perfect. I am so sorry our bed was not fully comfortable. That is something we have to get right!! Please give me or my daughter a call at the Inn to tell us what room you were in. If there is anything we can do to improve that situation...

Everyone at the Wine Country Inn helped to make our stay an enjoyable and memorable birthday getaway. From the warm reception, to buffet breakfasts, to our winery tour of some great local producers - along with a great lunch prepared freshly back at the hotel. The complimentary evening restaurant shuttle is a great added touch. We hope to be back...

Absolutely wonderful place to stay for Napa Valley. The setting is exceptional with our room and patio looking out over the pool, jacuzzi and vineyards - very romantic! Spotlessly clean room and luxurious bedding only added to the fabulous experience. Staff so helpful, making reservations and booking tours as well as organising the complimentary town car to take you to...

I loved the title of your review. My father, Ned Smith, coined our first promo phrase, "For A Little Peace In The Country". I have tried to honor that sentiment since then. Relaxation comes in many forms, an accommodating and knowledgeable staff, comforting food, peaceful surroundings time to reconnect and in our case even a ride to and from dinner....

Took my wife here as part of our trip for her 40th birthday and the hotel was perfect for a relaxing trip. The grounds are beautiful and our room had a balcony overlooking nearby vineyards. Furniture in the room was quaint and loved that there was not tv. Real wood burning fireplace with wood and kindling already arranged - just...

This was the perfect location to experience Napa. Able to watch the sun rise over a vineyard and a short ride away from downtown. The staff was super helpful with all restaurant suggestions and the amazing breakfast and daily wine tastings were a great addition! Can't wait to come back!

My wife and I stayed in the California Cottage and it was perfect! Surrounded by grape vines on 2 sides with a private patio off the back. The cottage was very spacious and perfectly clean. A lot of details in place, like colorful tiling in the bathroom and some antiques helped tie everything together. They have menus from the local...

Thanks for posting your photos on TripAdvisor. The intimate view from the California Cottage (#31) is truly inspiring with the vineyards so close on two sides. And to be a part of your honeymoon, that always makes me feel special. Trusting us with helping provide such iconic memories, well it is an honor (plus, also, maybe you might think about...

The Wine Country Inn is the perfect place to see Napa. We stayed in 2 rooms: 6 and 22 with 22 by far being our favorite. 22 was larger and had its own porch. The rooms were extremely nice and the staff was awesome. In the morning they have an absurdly good breakfast buffet with more choices and variety than...

The Califonia Cottage is the one and only room that my wife and I have stayed many times over the last 10 years. We love the private patio that spills out onto a lush vineyard. The bathroom is one to spoil even the most decerning. We come back to celebrate this special place that we got engaged and are never...
