My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at this inn last September. We had a fantastic time and the owners/hosts were amazing. We had a large king room with a deck. The room was so comfortable, we enjoyed our time in the mornings relaxing in a comfortable chair in the room or on the deck reading and napping. The country decor was awesome and actually brought back memories for my wife who grew up on a farm.

Their breakfast was simple but ample and tasty. Wonderfull fresh baked breads and such (did I mention waking up to that fresh smell every morning) along with frittatas and fresh picked veggies.

The Inn is nicely located with short drives to many of the popular wineries. The grounds are very nice as well.

We would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I loved our stay at Napa Farmhouse Inn in September.
This was our first bed & breakfast experience and is one of our most treasured travel experiences yet. We stayed in the Deluxe King Room on the main level of the Farmhouse.
The convenient location of the Napa Farmhouse Inn in St. Helena is perfect. Many of the best wineries and restaurants in the Napa Valley are located in or near St. Helena. St. Helena is also the halfway point in the Valley, making for an easy drive up to Calistoga or down to Napa, and for quick trip home after a night out at one of the many incredible restaurants in town.
Mimi was an amazing host, who made us feel comfortable and right at home. She spoiled us every morning with her delicious farm-to-table breakfast spreads. In fact, Mimi sells produce grown on the farm to many other chefs in the area. Such a great value!
The Farmhouse also sits on the most beautiful property and we loved strolling the grounds and enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset in the evenings.
We can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you, Mimi!

We highly recommend this beautifully restored inn surrounded by prolific gardens. Your breakfast is made from fresh eggs and luscious fruit and vegetables from their garden. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area. Gardeners delight.

We wish we were writing a glowing review of this inn but unfortunately our experience was less than anticipated. Based on the what we saw on Trip Advisor and on the inn’s Instagram page, we anticipated a stay in a lovely B&B in the Napa Valley with enticing gardens and relaxing spaces with beauty all around. We arrived to find a basically charming house but on entry to the property, there was a dirty minivan with flat tires and a barrier fence in the parking area in disrepair. The country farm house was charming but in need of spring cleaning to remove the vestiges of winter weather and cobwebs. The interior French country decor was lovely but in the kitchen and eating areas there was a greasy, sticky film over several of the decorative glass items, the adorable white teapots on the mantle in the bay window breakfast nook adjacent to the kitchen and even on the TV remotes in the dining, community area.

The grounds must have been beautiful at first spring but in June we found them unkempt, rose bushes untended and garden beds overgrown with weeds. It was a disappointment to us because part of our objective was to relax and decompress in the gardens. Only one modest patch of the organic vegetable garden was newly planted and thriving though needed weeding also.

Their site boasts of farm fresh eggs and organically grown farm to table vegetables and fruit. No chickens were found and the coop on the property was in disrepair and full of weeds. The breakfast was a vegetable, sausage and potato frittata served with some mulberries from their tree and other fruit. (Hopefully, locally sourced organic?). It was too early for fruit from their many fruit trees. It was accompanied by day old+ baked items brought from the bakery they own in the Bay Area where they spend half of their time.

It wasn’t a good value to us at almost $600 per night given our goal of a relaxing, visually enriching weekend in the wine country. We could be considered the one off contrarians given the previous positive reviews and it’s not lost on us that the owners could just be going through a rough patch but decided to post for those needing to take care in the their investment of time, intent and money.

We love bed and breakfast inns and stay in them as much as possible when traveling. We had high hopes for this property given the good reviews and were spending the weekend in Napa for a wedding. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! My husband has lung disease and is very sensitive to air quality. I explained this to Ed when I made the reservation. Ed, the inn keeper told us he would not be able to greet us and gave us the details of how to enter our room. Unfortunately, upon entering Room No. 3 in the main house, it smelled very musty! The room did not feel or was clean! We spent the night because it was late and could not move to another hotel until the next day. My husband coughed all night. Do no wear white socks because the carpet is filthy, and my slippers stuck to the bathroom floor when I walked on it. Disgusting! We ventured to the kitchen area and opened the refrigerator which was dirty inside. We could not imagine having breakfast at the Inn in the morning. I spoke to Ed in the morning and explained that we had to leave. I asked for our payment to be refunded, but he told me the policy was only to return 50%. I certainly would not have dealt with the situation that way. A most unfortunate experience!!!

that we brought home - delicious. We had a great stay, the farmhouse is in the middle of an organic farm and we got to sample the estate grown pears melons and peaches and other produce at breakfast. Very nice folks and great location.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Napa Farmhouse Inn for our few days in Napa, and can not recommend it enough! Mimi and Ed are kind, welcoming and accommodating. Mimi prepared an incredible breakfast daily with fresh ingredients from the garden. We made sure to walk the beautiful gardens and see the care they put into it. Mimi also gave us great recommendations on how to make the most of our stay in Napa. Ed provided us text updates and responded to our messages and requests so quickly. The property is beautiful and in a perfect location in St Helena to explore all the best wineries. Ed and Mimi truly care about their guests, and we hope to return soon!

Relaxing and fun place to stay. Room was very clean. Nice gardens surround. Wonderful breakfasts and very nice hosts. Windows lacked screens although there was a window air conditioner. We like to open windows due to covid risk and ended up with some mosquito bites!

The best place to stay in St Helena! Adorable house, that is close to everything. Fresh breakfast every morning from their garden was delicious! The innkeepers were incredibly sweet. A little slice of heaven! We will definitely be back!

What a hidden beauty!

Room is elegant, beautiful organic garden, amazing breakfast from fresh same day eggs, Rose jam on the toast, true organic garden to table.

Owners Mimi and Ed are full of stories, we enjoyed the conversations, love the authentic experience!

If you like to have relaxing or romantic vacation, this would be a perfect spot.

It’s a few minutes away from large wineries, downtown.

I highly recommend Napa farmhouse Inn.
