We loved seeing the elephants and cats up close. Loved watching the elephants and other animals in the large pen but the trees really obstructed the view. The rooms could use a microwave and the breakfast should be upgraded. The rooms were beautiful, but had no idea they would be tent like. Loved being with the elephants the most.

I've been trying to get my sister to visit me for over a year and when I found out about Vision Quest I got her to visit me the next month! We had a great time and really enjoyed the animals as well as the accommodations. Thanks for such a great experience!f

Enjoy awesome animals, no-tech atmosphere - peaceful surroundings. I took my mother for a get-away and she adored the place. You get to learn about big cats and elephants, sleep in a very nice bungalow, listen to cat cries at night instead of the TV :O). Bring munchies and a book if you really just want to chill. No wifi...

This was a wonderful experience to see elephants and enjoy being fairly up close and personal with wild animals. The Pachyderm Palace was clean and decorated in a cute elephant decor, but the beds were awful. Hard and uncomfortable. It's also very noisy being near a well traveled road. However, the animal exposure is great fun and we paid the...

Invariably, there will always be something about a stay some place that isn't perfect or isn't perfectly up to par. I would say, in the case of this B&B, some of the staff aren't always the most friendly (they are definitely more "animal" people than "people" people. But in my mind, the fact that they are devoted to the animals...

I stayed in the Pachyderm Palace and loved everything about it. It was very comfortable and clean and had all the comforts of home! The staff was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. It was better than I anticipated and I hope to return soon. I was in elephant heaven. We fed the big cats and helped put the elephants to...

I took my fiancé here to celebrate our engagement. She loves elephants, and the experience here was once in a lifetime. I definitely recommend a guided tour. The room had all the modern amenities while still feeling like we were on safari. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Spent a week visiting San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Salinas, Monterey, San Simeon and Buena Park. Hands down the Vision Quest Safari B & B was the best part of our trip. Wonderful accomodations, friendly staff and the animal encounters were unforgettable. Loved learning about all of the animals in the Monterey Zoo and hearing about their back stories and how...
