The staff was outstanding from pre-check-in through check-out, they were attentive and accommodating. The room was quiet and comfortable. We always appreciate the suite aspect to give us just a little more room.Having the refrigerator and a table to dine at was helpful, too. Pillows, bed and bedding all good quality. Shower hot water and pressure excellent. Plush towels, too. Good Continental Breakfast offerings. The location was terrific within walking distance to coffee, lunch and dinner. When we return to San Jose, we would stay here again.

My recent stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton in San Jose left me with mixed feelings. While there were several positive aspects to my experience, there was one area that could use some improvement.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Their hospitality and attentiveness made me feel right at home, which is always a great way to start a stay. The check-in process was efficient, and I appreciated the effort put into ensuring a smooth arrival.
The cleanliness of the hotel was truly commendable. My room was spotless, and the common areas were well-maintained. It's evident that the hotel places a strong emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness, which is particularly important in today's environment. Kudos to the housekeeping team for their excellent work.
However, there was one aspect of my stay that left me somewhat disappointed – the complimentary breakfast. While the hotel's website had advertised a complimentary breakfast, I found the options to be limited and the quality to be somewhat underwhelming. It would be great to see an expansion of the breakfast menu with fresher and more diverse offerings. This improvement would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience.
Despite the breakfast issue, I must emphasize that my overall stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton in San Jose was enjoyable. The warm welcome and impeccable cleanliness make it a solid choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. With a few enhancements to the breakfast experience, this hotel has the potential to become an even more attractive destination for visitors to San Jose.

I reached out to Fely to request an early check in. I mentioned this hard time and Fely was able to accommodate my early check in. On Thanksgiving I was greeted by Tammi and Bri who were pleasantly happy to be working and welcomed me and my family. They were very interested in my stay and genuinely made me feel happy to be there as it was my first time at this property. They accommodated and ground floor room which was phenomenal. The suite was amazing and I felt like home. The room features stainless steel appliances, cutlery, toaster, pans, and cooking utensils. I forgot to bring things and it was great to know how these items are anticipated for a great stay. Thanks again and keep up the great work! Looking forward to my next stay and to hopefully seeing these wonderful ladies. Side note thank you to Emmanuel who was able to change my next reservation when I accidentally put the wrong dates.

We were extremely disappointed with the accommodations and service. The first day when attempting to use coffee machine after putting water into the machine the water poured out of the bottom. We wrote a note and told front desk on the first day and on our last day 4 days latter they let new machine in front of the door.
The second day we came back at night after being at a conference all day only to find our room not cleaned. We called front desk they informed us that they only clean every other day. To which I said they should off told us before we checked in and they said it was Hiltons policy. After calling Hilton corporate we were told if we request everyday cleaning they should do it. However in 4 days our room was cleaned once even though we requested it.
We called on the second day since they wound clean our room to request towels since the once in the room were dirty, they did not replace. After coming back from meeting all day at 9:00pM we had to go to the front desk to get the towels we asked for.
I could give you many more things but I am tired of writing this review but don't stay here.

We did a mini vacation in the bay area and stayed at this Honewood. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. My son slept on the sofa bed and said it was comfy too. Breakfast was typical of scrambled eggs and sausage, oatmeal and some cereals. There were 2 waffle makers which my husband was appreciative for. Overall this was a great stay, everything worked in the room; AC, remotes, TV, phone, and we could plug the phone charger in the lamps next to the bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating too.

I am sorry to have to write summary negative review, because most Homewood Suites in which I have stayed have been wonderful. Not this Homewood Suites. After having our flight cancelled at 10pm, I booked this hotel’s one bedroom, king suite, with full confidence that I would get a few good hours of sleep before our 6:45am flight. I was wrong. While checking in, I asked if I could have an extra blanket for the pull out sofa bed and was told there were no more blankets available. The afternoon housekeeping staff had not washed any for the evening shift to have available. Upon arriving to room 309, the room was freezing, Inturned on the heat. However, after 20 minutes, only freezing cold air blew out. I called the front desk and was told I could switch rooms and to come all the way back to the front desk to pick up the key. Mind you, all the buildings are separate, individual buildings from the lobby, which meant an outside walk, in the dark, back to the lobby. Why the desk clerk could not bring a new key to me, I do not have understand. We moved to room 402 and while the heat worked, there was NO hot water coming from out of the bathtub/shower. After letting the water run for ten minutes, we gave up. Also, the drain was clogged, so the tub was over half full of water. The next morning, the water remained, which I took a picture of. Overall, this was the worst hotel stay I have had in years and I travel every week for business. I hope someone from Hilton reads this review as Indo plan on sending this to the hotel manager and regional vp also.

Skip this location. Curtains on windows don't actually close, so the only thing between you and outsiders looking in are sheers. There are numerous lights outside the building, so the room never gets dark. We got stuck on the ground floor, and the window locks were broken on 2 windows. There was hair in the bottom of the bathtub when we checked in. While we liked the layout of our suite, the furnishings were visibly dirty. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. There were a couple of times during the night when it sounded like someone was trying to get into our room. Because we didn't feel safe, we didn't sleep well. We ended up giving up on the room and checked out before 4 am.

Location was convenient as it was close to the airport. Facilities are pretty old; my room smelled old, and although it was a “suite” the space was very compartmentalized/ divided into small rooms. My room was not too clean, and again, smelled old. I was woken up at 7:30am when the cleaning crew started to bang their carts down the stairs outside my room. Only thing within walking distance are 11 restaurants next door and a Starbucks only open on weekdays (no weekends). Overall, I’d stay at another hotel if I could do it differently.

From check in to check out we had a great experience. Staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Our room was clean and well stocked plus we were given the ground floor which was great since we had a lot of luggage. The kitchen had every thing we needed except a frying pan but nothing a trip to Walmart couldn’t fix we left it behind for the next guest. Plenty of parking we only encountered a full lot one night but other then that no problem. The location was good to easy to find with some restaurants and a Starbucks right next to it. Love the fact that the laundry and gym are open 24hrs. The gym however could use a little more equipment like free weights etc but when on vacation who really wants to go to the gym. The pool was perfect for the kids since the weather was in the 60’s but they could still enjoy it since it was heated. We grilled one night and thankfully they had all utensils needed to do so it was great we had an issue with the grill one night but after bringing it to the staffs attention it was fixed and ready to use the next day. They even had a basketball for the boys to use at the basketball court which I thought was awesome. Hours of operation for both was just right too!! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast once in our 6 days only because we were out and about early and not quite hungry when we first got up. It was good with decent selections of food to fit anyones appetite. Last but not least check out was fast and easy and the that checked us out gave us extra Hilton honor points since the grill gave us trouble that one night which was nice and unexpevted. It really was a nice stay at the Hilton Homewood Suites. Thank you!!

The WORST HOTEL ever. We had such a horrible experience, the front desk staff was very rude and argumentative. Rooms are really small dirty and foul smell we can hear thru thin walls and guests above the room. Never staying here again. NOT WORTH IT.

Renovated, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. The staff was friendly, professional & extremely helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
They are like suites. There is a bedroom, living room with fireplace, dining area, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
