We stayed in the Whimsical building, and from the moment we walked into the room our thoughts were that the building desperately needs remodeling. The rooms are WAY too overpriced for being so basic and outdated. The bed was squeaky, the blinds were broken, the paint was chipping off in the bathroom, and there were spots on the ceiling that...

We've already updated almost every one-bedroom spa suites resort-wide. And we started completely renovating the standard mineral spring rooms about six weeks ago. These renovated rooms look great. Please contact me directly, reference this review and date, and we will make sure to get you into a newly renovated standard room--where you stayed during your last visit. Thank you for...

Our first stay here at Sycamore Springs. Was so hard to leave, I have to say. From the start, all the staff members were so kind and always available. Checing into the King Suite was worth every cent. Very clean, comfortable, cozy with a fireplace, your own personal jacuzzi tub on the deck, double shower and king bed. The Restaurant...

Well, how wonderful to hear that it was "hard to leave." So glad you enjoyed your newly renovated one-bedroom king suite and "fabulous" meals at our Gardens of Avila Restaurant. It is also great when guests enjoy the hiking and biking trails and the local wineries and community of Avila Beach. We are currently working on renovating and expanding the...

To a one, every person we dealt with, from reservations to the restaurant was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the renovated Queen Suite, which was so attractive and comfortable. The photos did not do it justice. We arrived late, and they called before we arrived to verify if we wanted the mineral hot springs tub filled for our...

Well, when we receive a review such as this telling us that every person on staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, we are truly thrilled. And so glad you enjoyed your newly renovated one-bedroom Queen Spa Suite and your dining experience at our Gardens of Avila Restaurant. Please do return soon. If I can be of assistance, please do not...

Beautiful place. Riki was very professional and kind when checking in. All the staff was great. Restaurant was so-so. I ordered the blue crab and avo eggs benidict. The crab tasted like it just came out of a can and the avo was all brown. Very disappointing.

We appreciate the review and so pleased you enjoyed your stay. I will speak, however, to the Chef about the Eggs Benedict. It usually is one of our most popular dishes. Upon your next visit, reference this review and date, and I'll make sure you have an amazing Eggs Benedict or another brunch dish on us. Thank you for taking...

We love the beautifully appointed suites. The hot tubs are on a secluded deck with a hillside view. The service was quick and friendly. We take advantage of The Nifty Fifty program. We will return next year and hopefully Lynn the massues with magic hands will be available. She's a treasure.

Tremendous to know that you really liked our newly renovated one-bedroom spa suites. And so nice to hear you found the staff friendly. We've offered the Nifty 50 package for 10 years, and will continue to do so next year. And I'll tell Lynn how much you enjoyed her massage. See you next year--or before!

My BFF and I try to get away quarterly. This is our 3rd trip to Sycamore and we stayed in the suites across the road. A little more expensive but totally worth it! The hotel staff seems to have really upped their game, service was fantastic. Our next trip will be 3 days not 1 as we did not get...

It was a beautiful property. Our room was nice except a few stains on the carpet and a leaky window. We will definitley return when the weather is more agreeable. We would love to see the property and go on some of the hiking trails.

We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about our beautiful property and your nice room. I'll have our staff look into the stain on the carpet and the leaky window--no excuse for either. Main bed awesome, everything nice. Pull out bed was horrible! So did not sleep good at all... So then missed the free 8 am Yoga class as jumped in King bed once Mom got up... Well, glad to know that you found your "main bed" awesome, but disappointed that your sofa sleeper was not comfortable. We did purchase these expensive soft sleepers just a few years back. I will, however, look into the quality of them over the next couple of weeks. I'll make sure to tell the chef and restaurant team how much you...

It is wonderful you had a blissful stay and found our staff so friendly. That means a great deal to us. So glad you enjoyed your room.
