I can't say enough about this hotel...I travel quite a bit for work and 99% of the time I stay in one of the hotels in a specific chain so that I earn points for my stays. I come to San Luis Obispo at least twice a year and can honestly say that this is the only place I go...

Pros -- Room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, receptionists at guest were very friendly and helpful, conveniently located for a trip to visit Cal Poly Cons -- Felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel (if that's what you are looking for, it would be a great option), parking lot very tight fit. Suited our purpose --...

Great choice for an overnight stop along Californian coast, close to Highway 1 and Freeway 101. Very comfortable beds, with huge TV, and DVD's free to borrow (+ popcorn). Complementary breakfast buffet perfectly adequate, incl. fresh waffles. Clean rooms, although decor not to everyone's taste. Downtown SFO is a short drive away.

Spent three comfortable nights in the Plantation building which is at the back of the property away from the road. Very quiet. Had a standard room, upstairs. It is a good sized room with a large bathroom and a firm, king-sized bed. I slept like a log. The hotel is about a 1.3 mile walk to downtown SLO and just...

We have loved our stay. The rooms are truly beautifully decorated. The huge tv and unlimited dvds and popcorn were lots of fun as well. The hot breakfast was very satisfying. We loved the bikes and used them to roam. The bed was comfy and the location is excellent. Walk up to Apple Farm for yummy treats! We will be...

The hotel was nice, had good amenities, they have loaner bikes to peddle around town. They serve a hit breakfast usually. They were remodelling the kitchen so did not have while we were there. They did have fruit and pastries all set out in office. Large selection of movies to take to your room. The room was pretty good. Some...

We had the pleasure of staying two nights in the Craftsman building for a long weekend Central Coast wine party pickup. Excellent location with a friendly staff and all of the amenities I could have asked for in a quick weekend trip to SLO. Breakfast was satisfying, rooms stocked with snacks (fee), robes, and little things that make a huge...

I found this place thru TA. This was our first visit to SLO. We stayed in the Buckingham. It is a small hotel, but very quiet and clean. Parking was good. Our room had a fireplace, double sinks, mini fridge and microwave. Perfect for families. The location was very close to downtown too. We also enjoyed the breakfast they offered....

This was a cute little hotel, we stopped in for the night after a drive from San Fran to LA. I loved the room, super comfortable bed and great bathroom. The fireplace was a nice touch. It was in a good location, downtown was about a mile away.
