Had a lovely four night stay at La Cuesta Inn. . We selected the Inn because they sponsor the Cuesta Basketball team and its good they support the local community. What a lovely stay we had. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a nice view of the nearby hills. Breakfast was...

Our family of 4 stayed at La Cuesta Inn at SLO for an overnight on our way from San Fran to LA. Highly recommended, great service, well appointed rooms & value priced. Breakfast provided in room rate, fairly simple but more than enough to get you going.

I've stayed at many hotels in SLO. La Cuesta is now my favorite. The hotel itself is nice, but not super fancy. The facility is well maintained and very clean. Everything in my room worked well and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is convenient. However, what really stands out are the staff. At check in they were warm, friendly...

All the little touches are what makes La Cuesta special. At breakfast there were fresh flowers on all the tables and fresh berries to eat. They gave us a Cal Poly parent discount since we were there to visit our student-very much appreciated! The staff were all very friendly and eager to help in any way they could. We'll definitely...

Got a great corner room facing east - which meant that I could enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning with the sun peaking over the hills. Have been trying to find a decent hotel in SLO, within a reasonable walk to downtown and a decent price - and I think La Cuesta Inn is it. For just a...

We have been traveling around a while on the westcoast now and unfortunately this hotel wasn't in line with our expectations compared to other hotels in the same price range. The rooms really needs a renovation and avoid the rooms fronting the main street where you will hear traffic. Coffee was a strange experience (can't stand these scented coffees) and...

I stayed in a standard room with two queen beds. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and we spent a quiet, well-rested night at the hotel. The bathroom was a bit cramped, and it would have better with a pocket door instead of the inward swinging door that was always in the way. The hotel offers tea, coffee, hot chocolate and...

Easy to find. The staff is kind and attentive, I was taken back on how genuine the staff is. Commendations, rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and are clean and seems to be recently been updated. Nice area and close to some very good local restaurant's. Nice breakfast area, clean. Safe place...

This fabulously quirky hotel was one of ten in which I stayed during my 16-day trip of Arizona, Nevada and California. The interior is decorated beautifully and has a somewhat Mexican feel. My room was more a suite. There was an open fireplace and above it was a large wall-mounted TV. There was a sofa, chairs, table, microwave, fridge and...

Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, quiet room. An added plus is that they have complementary coffee and tea and current dvds. They have a lengthy complementary breakfast 6 pm - 10 pm. Great location as well, within 1 mile of the college campus and fairly close to the Mission. A few negative points is that they don't have an exercise room...

Thank you for your review of your recent stay. We are happy you enjoyed our complimentary DVD library, which is currently stocked with seasonal Christmas classics, such as Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch who stole Christmas. We know how hectic the holiday season can be and relaxing with a movie at the end of a long day is a...
