The hotel was pretty much what I expected. Very unique and definitely very different. The common areas were beautifully decorated. Breakfast at the cafe was delicious, however dinner at the steakhouse was just okay. The dessert champagne cake was amazing however. We originally checked into the swiss alps room. I was not a fan as it mostly just looked old...

Interesting and well maintained property, retro chic throughout. Unique and individual rooms with sadly paper-thin walls. Other guests near us seemed to be there more to party than spa. Fitness center was basic but fine.

The Madonna Inn is every bit as fabulous as you hope it might be when planning your trip. The rooms and the amenities more generally are a riot of colour, kitsch and questionable taste. Like the love child of the Flintstones, Barbie, Disneyland and Dolly Parton! We stayed in the Lovebirds room (with rock shower) and also in the Ren...

Wow, what a find! Truly magical from the time you walk through the main doors. My children were completely amazed with the interior decor. We visited for lunch and the food we ordered was lovely and plenty of it. The children even had bottomless pink lemonade. Our waitress was ever so nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for us,...

The staff are uniformly gracious and welcoming. The room is Funky, maybe gaudy, maybe audacious! We stayed in the Tack Room, very horsey......fun. RED everywhere, red brick, leather, bathroom!!! We really wanted the Gold Rush to serve better steak/beef. We ordered the Rib Eye and the Prime Rib and both were served very rare as requested but quite a bit...

The Madonna Inn lives up to the photos in person. I was relieved to discover that it wasn't a nasty old place where you didn't want to touch anything for fear it would be sticky and not cleaned in decades. In actuality, it functions like a fully modern facility just decorated in the style of the past. The staff were...

Once we check in, we rarely leave the facility. We love having great shops,restaurants/bars, wine tasting and numerous activities, all in one beautiful place, and then relaxing in our fantasy room! The Copper Kettle is our favorite. If you have not tried the hot open faced sandwiches or the champagne cake, you are missing out, and the downstairs restrooms are...

There's a lot to say about this place so I'll break it down into categories. The Room: We stayed in the "Swiss Belle" room. This room is one of a couple rooms that feature the rock waterfall shower in the bathroom. You open the glass door and walk into a rock cave basically. Upon turning the water on it shoots...

This hotel is quite a find. Over a hundred kitschy rooms all decorated in different interesting themes, and many multi-colored and a mix of patterns like they were decorated by someone who is colorblind. We stayed in a room that looks and feels like a cave - from the stone walls, floor and ceiling to a stone bathroom with a...
