We stayed at the Ragged Point Inn in June on a family road trip. We enjoyed finding a unique location with such great views. The rooms were big but furniture needed updating. Also nice large bathrooms and great outside seating areas near the room. The grounds were wonderful with lots of neat places to explore and great views. We had...

We spent our birthday here on a trip down the coast, and the setting is totally stunning! We arrived in time for the sunset, and they have a great overlook with seating, probably about 20-25 people watching the sun set with us. There is tons of room for any outdoor event. Loved that part! Our room was huge!! Pretty old...

Spent one night here and really enjoyed the stay. The room was nice (except for low ceiling as we were on top floor and they had sloping ceiling with wood beams) and had a fridge. Really enjoyed the private deck with nice view of coast and garden. Lots of birds in garden. Staff was very helpful. On site restaurant for...

We stayed at Ragged point for a one night stop over on a trip down the coast from San Francisco to LA. For this type of layover this place has it nailed. The rooms are of a decent size and the facilities are good. There is a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, petrol station and grocery shop all on site. Behind...

Located on the best spot on the coast this hotel offers spacious rooms with whirlpool and fireplace as well as a balcony or garden with ocean view. This is a lovely, quiet place, wifi will hardly work and mobile have hardly any reception here, it is you, the ocean, your company, the great restaurant, the blooming garden with butterflies and...

My wife and I just came back from an excellent three night stay at the Ragged Point Inn. This is not the kind of place I would suggest for families or those that need a lot high energy stimulation, but for a restful romantic getaway it was great. The inn is about 25 miles north of the small town of...

What a pleasant surprise this place was! Heading south, the first thing you see is the gas station, convenience store and small restaurant. Then the multi-building two-story motel. However, once you are out of the car and checked in you see how much more there is. The site is a breathtaking piece of land high above the Pacific. There are...

Stayed here one night on way to Santa Barbara from San Fran. Wish we had kept driving for a bit more. The view is OK but the place is tired and very 80's I would guess. Track down to coast is probably dangerous for most. Coffee in the morning was undrinkable. Would not stay again.

We booked an upstairs cliff side room and were not disappointed. The views are amazing and the grounds are beautiful. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We ate a late lunch at the restaurant and thought the food (burger and salad) was good. The only negative was our waitress wasn't very pleasant. We received a...
