Nice and comfortable bedrooms. Pretty view from the room (mine was a ground floor room in the garden building) and beautiful view from the gardens. Really nice and short trail takes you down to a small rock beach, definitely worth doing at sunset. A bit pricey but worth it!

We stayed here 2 nights on the Big Sur leg of our trip. The cliff-side rooms offered an amazing view, and the first night we watched a striking sunset; the sun seemingly melted into the Pacific Ocean. The second night the seasonal fog rolled in, so we felt lucky to have seen that lovely view the first night. Used this...

My boyfriend and I decided to take a long vacation and drive the PCH. Along the way, we found Ragged Point Inn. I love this place. The views and location are just incredible. The rooms face the ocean and it was great to sit outside on the patio and read a book and listen to the ocean. The restaurant on...

This is a beautiful stop on a beautiful drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. It's great for a one-night stop along the way (I'm not sure folks would stay longer unless they're doing some serious hiking, in which case they might be camping anyway). The grounds, and views from the grounds, are extraordinary. The hiking trail was a bit too...

This was our second stay at the Inn. We love the views and the grounds of this beautiful Inn. Anytime we go on vacation we will stay at this Inn. We recommend it to all of our friends and to strangers that we have meet while on our road trip. For the price it was a GREAT deal considering this...

Spent one night at the Ragged Point Inn on our trip up Highway 1. This is an older resort which is perched overlooking the Pacific. We booked a cliff side room, upper level. Our room was comfortable with a decent bathroom, a fireplace and two very comfortable arm chairs which we promptly moved in front of the large window, table...

We stayed one night in king ground cliff side room - dated, old TV with few cable stations, bathtub drain clogged so it fills with water when showering, no cellphone service (we use Verizon), no telephone in room, no internet service (they say there is, but it was down the whole time we were there). After 11 pm someone knocked...

The only reason I did not rate this property as 'excellent' is that our bathroom (around the tub/shower) was moldy; otherwise the room was large, clean and property was second to none. Even if you choose not to stay here, you should consider stopping by to see the views. The gardens and property are well-maintained. We ate in the dining...

A delightful respite off the coast of 1, a relatively short drive from Hearst Castle and one of the best options in the area. Don't come here and complain about the fog - welcome to California. Enjoy. The restaurant was... ok. Go ahead and enjoy; it's fine, but if you're from San Francisco you might find it a bit wanting;...

Last summer my husband and I did a road trip through California. We pre-booked accomodations before leaving home. From the looks of Ragged Point on-line, we were really looking froward to our stay. When we saw our room and where it was we were quite surprised. Right next to the sidewalk being used by everyone who stopped. I felt like...
