We were only here for one night. The room is comfortable and a good location to head back to LA from sight seeing Big Sur. The staff is warm and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Just glad there was coffee.

The hotel has 2 buildings. We got a room at the second one (without the reception). It was horrible, old and noisy. Every time other rooms opened the water it made a loud noise. It looked like the other building is newer and modern.

Quite large room with a view (and sound) to the Pacific. Simple but nice breakfast. No restaurants or any other facilities at the hotel, except for a small but OK pool. Very good Mexican restaurant just outside. Don't expect too much from the reception staff.

The rooms were clean but definitely nothing special. The continental breakfast was very minimal and not what you would expect from a nicer hotel. It was nice having the ocean view so I guess that's what you pay for

This was our favorite place to stay on the Central Coast for several years. However, after our stay on 8/20/16...we're done. Our first room had the view of the ugly rooftop, so we asked to switched rooms. When I asked the gal at reception about switching rooms, she seemed indifferent to me. Really? I just spent 4 hours in traffic...

I stopped here on the way to San Francisco from LA. Very nice boutique hotel, older style which was nice. Very clean. Comfortable bed, spacious rooms, WIFI included, nice bathroom. Breakfast was basic, but all we wanted really. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We did fly drive and stayed in 6 hotels in US and this one was the worst. I booked this hotel a few months back asking for quiet room on top floor, we had ground floor room overlooking the motorway. The worse thing in the room was the smell. I asked to change the room, the stuff gave me blunt...

I stayed at The Morgan last week and extended my stay an extra day. Angie and the staff are simply wonderful! The facility is well maintained, close to everything including the beach providing an easy gateway to anything along the coastline. I only wish I could have stayed longer :)

I am really not sure where to start. I understand that options in San Simeon are limited, but really had higher hopes for this one. Let's start with the positive...easy to find, nice view of the ocean in the distance, has the basics, parking is convenient, some improvements have been made to the rooms, and it is convenient to Hearst...

Heart Castle is a wonderful and is a must see if you are in the area. We stayed at the Morgan hotel. The room had a smell mold through out the room. The room furniture had tears on the on the fabric and the bed comforter was worn out. The room window shade was torn. There was a hole in...
