My stay at the Hilton was so enjoyable because it is a beautiful and well-kept property, and the staff is outstanding! From the Front Desk to the Management, the Concierge to the Housekeeping staff, are all so polite and friendly. Even though the hotel was fully booked and had many customers requesting special accommodations, I saw how helpful they were to everyone. Even the dining staff and Bellman driver were attentive and made for the most pleasant experience. Santa Barbara is a beautiful city and very accessible, but I experienced the most fun staying on-site, eating in one of the restaurants, and enjoying the view. Santa Barbara Hilton is by far my favorite of all the Hiltons I've visited and my first choice for vacationing and business. Thank you, Alberto, Kezai, Marrissa, and all the staff; you are the best! …
I can’t say enough good things about this resort. First and foremost, it is located in the best yet secluded location in beachfront Santa Barbara, close enough to the pier, yet far enough from the crowds. The rooms are very clean and patios are very well maintained. The bars and restaurants have amazing varieties of food and beverage options. As the old saying goes: “You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.” Being greeted by Sarah in the front desk this afternoon with her phenomenal service made my stay even more of a diamond experience. She is a genuine asset to your wonderful resort!! Thank you Sarah. Joel T.
We have stayed here several times. The hotel is lovely, and the breakfast is fantastic. The manager, Kezai, is wonderful. He went above and beyond to assist with the help I needed. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was beyond impressed with Kezai's service. I am looking forward to my next trip!
The hotel was excellent, the best of all was Gary's (security) customer service. He was so nice and friendly. Every time he would see us, he would great us with a warm smile. He is definitely an assent to the hotel and would come back just to see him. The outdoor hot tub is definitely a must, and all the food was delicious.
The property was really disappointing and the rooms and public areas desperately need to be remodeled and refurbished. We paid over $700 for one night and it was not at all worth it. The rooms are so outdated and the walls and furniture scratched. Special property and great location -hotel management please consider an over haul.
The hotel was very nice. Located across from the beach. The desk service was a bit slow but people were nice. Their restaurant hostess was very rude and unfriendly but the waiters were very nice. I would recommend this place . The amenities were very good. It has a nice walking path and beautiful view of the beach from the hotel.
We spent two restful nights at this hotel. Chose this place because of the beach front location and that it was a Hilton hotel. It did not disappoint. We loved our stay here in Santa Barbara and will recommend this to family and friends. It was close to the Amtrak train station and used the Hilton airport shuttle to pick us up. Even in light rain, we used the big pool. Nice that it was slightly heated. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating. Loved that we were able to rent bikes which allowed us to bike to the wharf and beach path. Will come back again.
We've stayed here several times under different brands (Fess Parker, Doubletree, and now Hilton). While other properties are still having post pandemic staffing issues, we found none of that at this Hilton. Patrick Wehrle, the front desk manager, was gracious and assisted us with multiple issues we had with booking our stay w/AMEX. Our room had a spectacular view and the breakfasts were excellent. The expansive front lawn had a variety of games including corn hole and ping pong. The free use of bicycles for use on the great bike paths was an added bonus. W We will definitely be back.
Best stay ever, everyone was hospitable and super friendly starting from the bellman, check in with Patrick, breakfast with Stacey and all other employees that I forgot their names. Thank you very much it is a highly recommended resort and will see you soon for sure. Cheers, Subhi
Stayed there for a conference. Great place for some such event. Rooms are very spacious and well-appointed (fridge, safe, etc), some with wonderful view, some with lesser view. I did not luck out. I guess not everyone can. Staff was good, attentive, and helpful. (A couple of the ladies at the little cafe near the reception could up their game.) Kudos to the security team. I forgot to check the safe when I checked out and left some important and valuable stuff behind. Before I noticed (already being back in Los Angeles), I received a message from them and after a number of phone calls and messages and a FedEx delivery got re-united with my stuff. The beach is nearby, as is (about 45 minutes walk), between Garden and State St, a bunch of excellent little cafes, wine-tasting venues, and restaurants including some specializing in wine-tasting. If you come by bus from LA, expect to be dropped off at a place about a 30 dollars taxi drive away. Only there are no taxis waiting for you, so better have some other means of transportation.…
