This hotel has rooms that are a bit dated and tired and in need of some renovation/decoration. The reception and dining area are very plush which only adds the disappointing state of the rooms. The access to the outside pool are is very nice but the upper rooms have it better with their own balcony. The hotel staff were very...

Very easy to find, we were first timers to the area, loved the location, staff was great, rooms was wonderful, slept well, loved the lanai outside the patio doors for each room. Was able to pull up right to the room to load/unload. Needed some tape to secure our boxes for the flight and they gave me the whole roll...

The hotel is rather dated. The decor is old and tired . However, the hotel staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean . There is a lovely pool and sunbathing area to relax after or before a busy day exploring Santa Barbara . The hotel has its own restaurant if you don't want to venture...

We stayed here 2 nights towards the end of our 3 week California coast road trip. We stayed at mid range hotels and this was overall our favorite. I am giving it a 5 because for the price you can't beat it. California hotels are outrageously expensive. We were pleasantly surprised to have a balcony with table and chairs off...

Definitely worth paying barely more money over what I would have spent on a budget hotel, as this was a very good value, with comfortable beds, large rooms, and a nice courtyard setting with a good pool and jacuzzi area. Staff was helpful, and accommodated my 1pm late checkout request. Quiet hotel with attached restaurant on upper State Street. Bathroom...

Loved it! Thought it was a low budget hotel but the pool, restaurant and total ambiance was great! Room was a little on the dated side but it looks like they have tried to renovate it - overall, great 1950's flair that is clean and worth the price- great value and the BEST pool area!

Although this hotel has many benefits,( ie location, parking, pool) the rooms are very dark and carpet needs a cleaning. it appears as though no one ever vacuums around the moldings. Our room needed a face lift. The bathroom needed painting as well as a new seal around the tub area which also appeared dirty. A fresh coat of paint and...

We stayed here for one night, one night only. Stopped in the bar to have a cocktail while they finished getting the room ready. My wife ordered a drink, the bartender made it for her then said he could do it better. When the bill came he charged for both drinks, even after he said he would remake it for...

I suggest the Lemon Tree hotel to all visitors foreign and national because it offers the most important five items--1) parking,2) a beautiful quiet spa like garden and 3) lovely pool area (like a lake), and a great restaurant indoors and outside-the "Crocodile". It is well appointed has great professional level staff at the front desk, and is also 5th...

Stayed here for two nights whilst exploring Santa Barbara. Rooms were big and modern, we had a view over the pool which was also big and had a jacuzzi. The on site restaurant is good, breakfast was lovely (although not included in our room rate, it was al a carte and delicious).
