Great hotel! An ideal place for a getaway in Santa Barbara. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The view of the beach is gorgeous and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re spending a few days in Santa Barbara.
We had a great stay at the Santa Barbara Inn. Our room overlooked the ocean and it was a peaceful time. The staff were all great, from front desk to housekeeping, restaurant crew and valets. Very close drive (no real traffic to contend with) to State Street and/or the freeway. Our room was large, clean and luxurious. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast and outdoor dining. A very nice, clean area around the hotel as well. If you go, I recommend walking across the street and taking a stroll along the beach. There are bike paths there as well if you are on wheels. Santa Barbara is one of our favorite spots and this was our first stay at the Santa Barbara Inn. It won't be our last.
The location is beautiful, rooms comfortable and restaurant as good as any in SB —- buy above all the service from every member of the staff was exceptional! Thank you for an amazing weekend. This will be out “go to” hotel in SB from now on.
This is a great hotel. In addition to being clean and conveniently located just across from the beach, the customer service was exceptional from end to end. Grant, the hotel manager, went over and above to help us out. I look forward to returning again in the future.
The hotel is a quaint, comfortable and a bit upscale. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. The staff were very nice and very helpful during my stay. Cannot say enough about them, even down to the guys at the valet. The location was great. Across the street from the beach and walking track. It is about a mile from state street with many restaurants. I will definitely go back next time in Santa Barbara.
Everyone from valet to front desk to restaurant were amazing. What a great staff. They were so friendly, accommodating and professional. So sincere and enjoying their job…creating customer satisfaction. Great job by everyone. Truly best service
We had a really great albeit quick visit this past weekend, and were left so very impressed by the service that I had to share my experience. We were greeted with the warmest welcome by the valet Jimmy, he was so sweet and kind. We got to stop by the restaurant for a quick drink and desert and the food was spectacular, plus we were lucky enough to have the manager Rich assist us. He is amazing! So knowledgeable and helpful and so patient with our little one! This man is an absolute gem. Ruth was great helping us with some check in requests we had at the FD and prior to arrival. Even though we had to leave early in the morning, we had a wonderfully warm departure experience with Carlos and Dakota-these two exemplify the gift of hospitality. What an asset to have such an incredible guest services team! We also had a fantastic interaction with the manager Grant, it’s easy to see that he is a great leader and has a great team. We are already looking for an excuse to come back and visit.…
We had a delightful week here in a spacious first floor room. The hotel feels brand new and the friendly staff seem intent on keeping it beautiful. Great gym, pool and spa. On separate occasions we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner in
The best thing about the Santa Barbara Inn is its fantastic location. Directly opposite the main beach. The hotel also has a very nice outdoor dining area for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable - just not particularly memorable. Customer service was excellent, with a special shout-out to the Valet parking team who were always very helpful, friendly and professional. Only downside was the distance to the shops and restaurants. They hotel is walking distance from the town centre but too far to go back and forth all day on foot. Don't miss Santa Barbara's sunsets on the beach and the Mission ... both beautiful. (Took one star away for being pricey.)
We recently hosted a small wedding event for our daughter in Santa Barbara and the beautiful, intimate Santa Barbara Inn was our central point of operation. We had actually planned this in 2020, but due to Covid complications, we had to cancel, rebook in 2021, cancel again, and rebook in 2022. The Santa Barbara Inn was wonderful to work with, especially Amanda Haywood in group sales. She was always delightful and provided excellent customer service throughout our two year relationship. We had a total of seven couples and each guest was delighted with their accommodations and the overall hotel. We used the in-house restaurant, Convivo, for a private dinner on the fireplace patio, and it was perfect. Diana Urias did an excellent job coordinating the planning of the dinner and the result was a beautiful outdoor setting with delicious food and excellent service. We could not have been happier with the entire experience and strongly recommend the Santa Barbara Inn and Convivo.…
