Mission Inn was clean, comfortable and entirely acceptable. The room where we stayed was a little dark for my taste. With only 1 small window facing the courtyard. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Kids get a free sand bucket and tools with a few snacks :) They certainly make an effort.

The Inn is centrally located between the ocean and the quaint downtown. It is also across the street from a great donut shop. The room was large enough, clean and quite. The desk staff was very helpful with dinner suggestions and directions

We stayed here because it was close to our daughter house, nice find. Very clean, good location, it's on the main drag [Highway One], but we got a room towards the back and it was surprisingly quiet. The a/c was quiet as well. Shopping center right across the street. Nice young man at the front desk, this will be our...

This hotel was more like a motel, however the rooms were well equipped with microwave, fridge, TV, air con etc. It was friendly, clean and tidy with wifi but the breakfast room was very basic and small. The other thing was, and this is why it was inexpensive I guess, was that it was further out of Santa Cruz on...

I'd say the best thing about this place is its location. 5 minute drive to the water. 10 minutes to the Boardwalk. Near a few nice restaurants and bakeries for breakfast. Walking distance to Safeway. The room itself is perfectly fine. Honestly, a little less impressive/nice than the pictures might appear...

We enjoyed our stay at the Mission Inn. The hotel is well cared for, rooms and common areas are clean. Breakfast buffet was better than I expected (but does not open until 7:30). Wireless worked well. Staff was friendly and seemed to care abut their work. I would stay again.

Hotel room was very clean, bed very comfortable, great air conditioning. Location was on the main street, very close to some Restaurants, very good customer service at front desk. Continental breaksfast was provided - standard items provided in 2 locations. Only improvement would be more lights in the room ( room on the dark side) and more electrical outlets for...

Mission Inn is located outside of the city centre of Santa Cruz, so you would have to use a car or other transportation to reach the main street and the board walk. There is however some restaurants (we did not try them) and a big grocery store nearby, and also a laundry a bit further away. The staff was friendly...

Rates were good but the room was dark and not nice. Front desk lady was pleasant but young and could not control loud guests above me. At 10:20 their children started jumping up and down and made it impossible to sleep. She called and they said they would try to be more quiet. I tried again to sleep but it...

Thank you for taking the time to share your suggestions with Mission Inn. We were made aware of this incident of excessive noise, and wanted to come up with a satisfactory solution for you. Unfortunately the guests above you felt they had quieted the noise and further stated their children were asleep. We felt the best solution would be to...

A smaller local hotel with Santa Cruz character. Lovely room, very clean with all basics covered. Exterior is inviting and the interior courtyard was perfect in the evening with a glass of wine. Breakfast covers tasty hot foods and grab and go delights too. Staff provided great advice and directions.
