We needed a place last minute for personal matters that one can never predict. The jacuzzi is open late, which was a plus. Location was convenient to Safeway, Falafel. The overall location wasn't great for the court house, which is why didn't stay the following stays in Santa Cruz. The front desk was always helpful in whatever we needed. Overall...

Here for a family party, very nice rooms and really warm Jacuzzi. Switched from 4 person to 6 person room, 1 nite each, and both were great. Comfortable beds, OK free breakfast, nice staff. No complaints at all!

Although a little away from centre of town this unpretentious motel offered us really comfortable rooms, and extensive free breakfast and charming staff. What more do you want from a facility such as this? Would come back if in the area and recommend to others on a budget too

Room was clean. Jacuzzi was not great, the water was tepid and jets weak. Breakfast not worthwhile. Coffee in room was Seattle's Best, not good. Not sure if it was the brand, or if because it was almost expired. Not the best place, not the worst.

For one night, we were not disappointed. Grounds are immaculate, rooms were spic and span clean. The property is older, 2 story type. This is not a boutique hotel. You can hear your up stairs neighbors walking so I would request an upstairs room next time. Staff was helpful you can walk to the beach in 20 minutes, stores around...

Stayed one night. Room was very big with a fridge and micro wave however we didn't sleep very well as the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Also we had paid for breakfast but when we got to the breakfast room, none of the electricity was working so we couldn't toast anything, microwave anything or get a hot drink. This...

Wanted to camp this Easter weekend but poor planning on our part to find no camp sites. Instead, we found this gem in Santa Cruz close to our family. We both found a restful sleep, clean room and good safe parking. Looked at the breakfast provided (we had plans with family), but only took some coffee. Coffee was not tasteful....

The Mission Inn was recommended to me by an old friend. I had stayed in other properties around the Santa Cruz area and was generally disappointed in what I had found. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality I found. The beds were simply excellent. According to the owner, they were all upgraded to the highest quality...

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, everything working, including the fridge and microwave (nice perks). And the location is great and price about par for the area. But it's darned noisy here. Not only is there a lot of noise from Mission St (HWY 1), but the rooms on the East side (where...

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room, nice hot tub. The bed was comfortable and everything looked very clean, including the carpet. The continental breakfast, which was included with the room price, was also pretty good and included hard boiled eggs, several varieties of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, several kinds of breads, waffles, coffee, tea, milk, two kinds of juice...
