We happened upon the Sunny Cove Motel by chance 25 years ago. Since that time we have returned numerous times. We have dogs and they are welcome. Even better, right down the block is an awesome dog-friendly beach. There is a nice pool on the groiunds that the kids, and now grandkids, enjoy. We usually stay in one of the...

My family and I just back from a week at the Sunny Cove. This place is perfect if you are looking for quirky and simple. The manager Jane is a real gem. Please read the other reviews here as they are mostly accurate. The most important thing to say about Sunny Cove is that it's not a luxury hotel. If...

The motel is very nice. Big room with small kitchen and bathroom. Jane was very helpful with directions and answered all our questions. The only two negative things we have to say about the place is that one of the towels was dirty (a very obvious footprint) and that the heater made noise during the night which made it hard...

My daughter and I are driving from Eugene to San Diego and just stopped overnight at the Sunny Cove. We needed clean and affordable, we got much more! The rooms are fresh and clean. The motel itself is really cute. The clerk at the desk gave us an even better rate than she quoted over the phone. She also had...

We stayed here for its location, which is worthy of noting: it is steps away, literally, from the ocean, as the aptly-named Sunny Cove Motel is down the street from a lovely cove that welcomes a late-day swim when the fog has lifted. The rooms were clean and the staff courteous, but it is a small, independently-owned and maintained place....

If you want a kitchenette with no plates, no spoons, but just 4 bowls and a few other broken utensils, then this place is for you... If Internet access is important for you, don't go there (i did not get any, while it was super important for me work to get online to complete a work project). If all that...

Not sure where to begin. First we were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the beach. You walk less than 100 yards to a beautiful private like beach that is cove. You can swim, relax, and skim board. Jane was a very gracious host. She worked very hard for us when our car ended up in the shop...

The Sunny Cove is a no-frills type of place, and that starts with booking your room. Everything is done over the phone, there is no way to book anything on-line. Jane is in charge of mostly everything at Sunny Cove and she was very friendly and helpful. The rate during the week is $100 a night and it was $120...

As described by others, this is definitely a funky, family and pet friendly alternative to a chain motel. We wanted a room as a base camp, and that's what we got. Good-sized room with a semi-functional kitchenette (bring your own cooking utensils if you really want to do serious cooking). Unfortunately the refrigerator didn't work very well, but did keep...

The Fun, Funky, Friendly, Fabulous Sunny Cove Motel. I've stayed at the Sunny Cove more times then I can count now. I've stayed in probably every room they have, Gone alone, with my mate, with my kids, with my mate & my kids, with my kids & their friends. No matter what the occasion or company with me, Sunny Cove...

I read all the great reviews , and I suppose this would be miss jane that is reading this. So I would like to give you a real short idea of what I am looking for. If I may.

My name is tracy, and I am looking for a [real] comfortable , clean and forgiving {lets not forget affordable} apt. like place to take my family on a small get away vaca too. My daughter , her husband and their 2 small boys {grandsons} and myself have just made it thru a 2 year traumatic experience and can now breath and live life free and out of the big eye. So to speak.

I think we forgot how life really is. That its ok to not be perfect parents or people. We forgot how to relax and just breath. ya know.? So I thought a good 3 or 4 days at the coast were all is cast to the sea and renewal is inevitable might help.

I don't have a 9 to 5 if you will. I sell marbles, old ones.. and other treasures of others that need to be renewed as well by another soul. Or you could call me a "junk dealer" . I like to do my part in keeping our landfills free of useful debris. anyways, Besides affordable, I need to please consider my 2 lovely little grandsons, darlings they are so full of spirit. LOTS OF SPIRIT! if you know what I mean. Some of your guests my not enjoy their spirit as much as I do. {they are very , boisterous and have a lot of energy. so if you might have a place for us in your quaint 13 room apt/hotel for a few days, I would love to hear from you . I do not always have my phone on as it is a prepaid and non contract so right now > not on. tomorrow maybe.

I would like to be able to cook in the room {boys eat a lot} and it would be 3 adults 2 small boys 2 & 3 yrs old. so maybe away from the road , or something.

I was told to ask for jane , that you would take care of us. I thank you for taking time to read my mumbling on story.

And no theirs no grandpa coming, were on our own. its all good . God is good !
