Loews is a really beautiful hotel with large glass areas just in front of Santa Monica beach with a heated pool overlooking the pacific ocean, steps away (and with great views) from the Santa Monica Pier. My room was spacious and trendy, providing wired and wireless internet access (I wasn´t charged for using, but they consider this service as complimentary)....

Three of us stayed in a Grand King Suite with and adjoining room. We had a beautiful view of the Santa Monica Pier. We went to Santa Monica for the Festival Supreme, went to the Pier to watch the show but was so crowed we came back to the room and enjoyed the event using binoculars and the location was...

Lovely big tourist hotel. Great position. Beautiful view from our room. But...Not much personal service. We found our room to be quite grubby. Rubbish left in the room from the previous guests. The breakfast was delicious. The pool area very nice, but if you want a pool lounge to sit on, get there early. Free wifi in the lobby. You...

On arrival we found we had been booked into a twin room - we were on our honeymoon and notes had even been made on our booking to say this! As the rest of the hotel was booked up we were instead offered a double room on the ground floor next to the swimming pool full of kids, or a...

This place is really well placed in Santa Monica and Santa Monica is definitely a great place to be. The check in, rooms, bar and restaurant services are all great. Yes the pool is small but we never struggled for sunbeds or umbrellas and the drinks service was great. As someone who gets dehydrated very easily the complementary cucumber water...

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights. We booked a non ocean view room however on arrival we were given a room with a view of the pool and glimpse of the ocean which was a bonus. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the valet guys looked after us well. The hot tub was open until 10pm...

Stayed for four nights and I wish we could have extended it another week before returning home. We loved this hotel - the staff were friendly and relaxed, the room was great and the poolside area was perfect for spending afternoons in the sun. It is located right next to the beach, so there are amazing views to soak up...

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
