My sister invited me for a getaway trip during President's weekend to Santa Monica. She insisted on The Ambrose Hotel as she had already stayed here and could attest to the safety and cleanliness of the property in addition to the ideal location. I felt welcomed and relaxed as soon as I arrived. The front desk professionals were kind and helpful. My personal room was deep cleaned and sanitized. I like the fresh air from my fourth-floor window too. The best discovery is a world-class bakery across the street, The Tartine. We also walked to some other fun establishments like Fromin Deli. Lastly, the staff is so kind. They helped me troubleshoot to get Netflix on my TV--who does that? These folks! Highly recommend!

Matthew went above and beyond! He is the epitome of sublime service. We wanted a little getaway for my birthday and he made it special despite the current circumstances. I just spent a week at the Ambrose Hotel, located next to St John’s Hospital on 20th street in Santa Monica. The hotel location is exceptional, everything you could ever want is within walking distance, no further than two blocks away. The most convenient amenity is a famous bakery from the San Francisco area named, TARTINE, which has opened directly across the street from the Ambrose... The best artisan breads, coffee and pastries… EVER! My daily ritual was to enjoy my morning coffee and the warm California sunshine while sitting on the Ambrose’s well-designed and comfortable patio in front of the hotel. The Ambrose hotel appears to be new, it’s very clean, hip and a great deal. The bathrooms are well designed and beautiful. But what sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service the front desk managers provide. Warm, friendly and perhaps the most helpful staff I've ever encountered in any hotel. My hat is off to the general manger, Erik, for assembling such a great team of associates... I'll be back!…

We went to The Ambrose Hotel to celebrate our anniversary and we had such a wonderful time. This was our first time here. Even during COVID times things are very seamless and in good condition. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are really nice. We had a beautiful view and a balcony. We also were able to attend a happy hour at the bar area and we had the pleasure of meeting Shima who works for the hotel. She was such a pleasure to talk to and very polite in getting us silverware and things to eat out dinner that we had ordered in. I couldn't recommend this place more! Thanks for such great stay!
