This Hotel is better than its first impression, the outside appearance is a bit tired looking, but the room we were given had been refurbished to a good standard. The breakfast room is cramped, but there is plenty of seating in the adjoining outdoor area....More
The facility was centrally located, free hot breakfast and friendly staff. Definitely worth the money! I should mention ample free parking and close to west LA and Hollywood blvd. Shopping at the Promenade is a must and just minutes from the beach.
Staying at the comfort Inn Santa Monica. Excellent. Clean, newly renovated. Nice interior courtyard. Super comfy beds. Good Chinese across the road for takeout. Good value for money. CLose enough to the Pier to walk and outside of LA.

Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller
coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
