We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2021. It was not what we expected, but we did have a good time. One of the pools had been torn out and was being paved over, so we had a view of the construction from our room.
The actual pool area was pretty, surrounded by a rose garden. It was heated, so it was swimmable. The hot tub was closed, so the dash from the pool at the back of the property to our room at the front and upstairs, was windy and chilly even in the heat of summer. If you want a room close to the pool, ask for it when you book your room. That goes for if you want an upstairs or downstairs room, too.
There was very little information about the "grab and go" breakfast available (for a charge?) at the hotel. There was conflicting information about the "cafe", no menu, no prices, etc. We ended up going to Denny's down the street. Although this hotel is in an industrial area, it was walkable to a lot of chain restaurants. It was within a couple of highway exits from the Charles Schulz museum and about a mile to Luther Burbank's house and garden, both of which we visited and recommend.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We knew up front that we would not have housekeeping while we were there, and that was fine. Every time I walked down our walkway to the housekeeping room on the second floor, the lady was very kind and got us everything we needed. The one time my daughter called the office to ask if there were towels by the pool , the one cranky person working at the hotel yelled, "What?"
The staff in the office were lovely, except, again, that one cranky person. One young man was obviously learning the ropes, and he was terrific, as was the young man who was training him. Thanks, guys, for making us feel welcome and appreciated. That goes for the housekeeping staff too.
I'm hoping that, as the construction is finished and the hotel returns to a routine as more things open up, this hotel will have even better service and more accurate information about facilities and services. It has potential to be pretty nice.

We (Family or 6) were just there over the weekend for the Sonoma Hot Air Balloon Classic at the county fair. When we checked in at 3pm to our 2 queens/1 kind family room, front desk staff told us they were in the process of fixing the hot water heater and it would be fixed by the end of day.

Fast forward 3 hours after our check-in, we got a call stating that there will be no hot water for our stay though they will deduct $50 off our nightly rate. And couldn't move us to other rooms/building.

With grandparents and two little kids in tow, we were quite disappointed to say the least. And the pool was dirty (filled with countless bugs).

The three stars are for their friendly front desk/reservation staff and the close proximity to the county fair.

We will most likely not stay here again.

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was very comfortable! The closet hanger broke, and they immediately fixed it which was excellent on their part. The beds were also comfyyyy, and the person who served us breakfast was the kindest woman everrr😭💛

Easy check in and check out. Room was very nice and opened to the lovely courtyard. Enjoyed the warm air option in the bathroom. Breakfast was good but there was a charge. Will stay again when in this area.

We have stayed here a number of times. We are rewards members and because we live about two hours from Santa Rosa we often have stayed over night . We try to use the BW motels to get points. This motel is older, more like the old one and two story motels. Some of the buildings look quite dated on the outside. Don't be fooled . They have been tastefully remodeled on the inside. This unit was one story on the Garden. The interior had new floors and carpet, remodeled bathroom etc. and was immaculate. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a cold rainy night and I was concerned the one thin blanket on the bed wouldn' be enough and there were not any others in the closeet. Surprisingly we were toasty warm all night and I slept better than I usually do at any motel. Wonderful bed. The heating unit was quiet so we just turned it up a little and we were perfectly warm. You park your car right at your door which is nice. They don't include breakfast but there is a little cafe on the property that serves the bvest breakfast ever. It was half the price of most restaurants . The motel is quite reasonable so we don't mind paying for such a wonderful breakfast. This motel is in a great location, just a block from Costco, close to the freeway and it is a large property with pool and spa and beautiful gardens. Does not feel like an impersonal hotel at all.

This is a hidden gem! Great bungalow-style rooms. Spacious, modern, with the most comfortable beds I slept in.
It has a café where you can sit and eat hot. You park right in front of your room making it easy to take suitcases other assorted travel items into the room.

This is a wonderful Best Western. Although the property is older, it is well maintained. This was a girls overnighter (me, my sister, and Mom) and our room in the low-level units was extremely clean and comfortable, with two queen beds and plenty of room to move. Check-in was quick and breakfast was quite good. With its close proximity to the Wine Country, this is a great place to stay if you're looking for something a little more affordable.

I traveled three times from March to June. One trip was across the US for three weeks from CA to NC, SC to FL and back to CA. The price I paid at Santa Rosa Garden Inn exceeded the price paid anywhere in the US and I stayed in Florida across the street from the beach in St Augustine. The hotel was great, everything was working and clean, we had a family suite but I felt the price per night or rewards points they charge was over by $100. It's just your average Best Western hotel. There is no complimentary breakfast. There is a restaurant on the property where you will pay extra. Note: Do not pay for coffee in the restaurant, it's free in the lobby. Our room was great. They have a pool and hot tub but they close at 9pm rather than 10pm. The family suite was nice in that two queens in one room and one king in the second room. Both had TVs and independent AC/Heat units, which was great. I just think the price is way too high for a Best Western. We are in Santa Barbara CA and our Best Western here is not that high.

As a caregiver, I'm often traveling with my client. Most motels do not have excellent ADA rooms, but this Best Western does...a separate bed for me, a roll in shower that drains properly, and all amenities within reach of my client. The breakfast at this motel is also excellent as the menu, though limited, is prepared as you request...not self serve. The motel is freeway close and convenient to shopping and restaurants. This is one of my favorite places to stay.

This is a very comfortable and easy place to stay. Nothing fancy. It is very well kept up. They allow dogs and since we are involved with Canine Companions this is the perfect place to stay. They do serve breakfast which is very reasonably price. It is very conveniently located. Lots of good restaurants nearby. They have a small pool and a hot tub.

The motel is in a lackluster area of Santa Rosa but I certainly felt safe here. There is a lot of shopping quite close by (but not in walking distance). You are right smack off highway 101, but the motel grounds are set back and well lit.
