The pain is coming off of the walls the bed was very dated and uncomfortable. there is a fire place, but no wood provided. the room was cold and the heater was very noisy. I do not recommend this hotel if you intend to sleep at night.
In general the property was good. We had an illness that cut our trip short. Upon explaining to staff they said we agreed to a 2 night package regardless of any illness. As such no matter the reason we would be charged the full rate. After the last year with the virus one would think there would be more understanding.
The room was very nice with a gorgeous view of the harbor. My wife loved the huge soaking tub. Staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Self parking could be an issue for some older or infirm couples. They advertise valet parking but don't have it. The restauant was handy and had good food. The air conditioner didn't work but didn't need it. Just opened the french doors. I should have checked but the room also had a very low toilet with no bars or counters around it. I am 71 with bad knees and it was an effort for me to use. Next time I will get an ADA room just for the higher toilet.
Beautiful and relaxing experience. I've stayed at the hotel before and had a great time. This trip was just lovely. Everything that you might question because of "covid" was directly and clearly answered. It is so easy to travel when everything is in place and so well organized. We were checked in by the GM who is beyond warm and lovely. Thank you for everything.
Lovely stay at this hotel in Sausalito. Great view from our balcony. Great location, as we love Sausalito and its stores and restaurants. Very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms have high ceilings; coffee in the morning is complimentary.
