My wife and me were doing LA to SF via PCH and we found this hotel to be a perfect stop in our road trip. This is a motel and econo lodge. So don't pay too much and don't expect a five star. The room was ok with a fridge and a microwave. A nice surprise was the bathroom that...

Reading the other reviews about this motel, I find hard to believe that I stayed in the same place as the other persons making comments. The prices were the best I have ever found in the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and had amenities that I no longer find at motels charging much more. I look for value and...

We booked this place at the last minute through Hotwire ! For 200$/ night, this place is a joke ! Old building, stained wall, dirty floor. Rooms/ restrooms were not cleaned properly. The only good thing was the decent breakfast. If you are paying more than 50$/ night for this place, better find rooms someplace else and save yourself !

Very old hotel. Thankfully we only had to stay one night. The bed sheets had stains all over them. The bathroom had hair on the floor and on the towels. We had a long morning and wanted to rest for the afternoon but the room was so hot! There is no AC in the hotel. Front desk said it will...

Since we planned to stay on a Friday night and being this is a tourist area, it's slim picking since we didn't want to spend a fortune for our stay. We've never stayed in an Econo Lodge and the name itself (Econo=Economy) gave us some doubt. It turns out ok, there were many guests that night (based on the cars...

I don't think we were in our room more than 15 minutes...the time it took to find another room in a better location. There were people "hanging out" all around outside our room and we could hear everything in the next room and outside. A few homeless were camped out beside our room at the end of the building. Depressing...

You won't confuse this for the Ritz-Carlton. Then again, for around $50 a night you can't argue. It is OK for a place to crash for the night. We found it to be very quiet. I have spent 3 times this amount for an "upscale" hotel only to be kept awake all night by partiers in adjoining rooms. As long...

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We have stayed many times before when we went to visit our Daughter who goes to College there. We booked 3 rooms back in January 2013 for my Daughters College graduation for May 2013. We were given a confirmation number and when we called recently to confirm, they didn't have our reservation!! They had us down...

We were given a 1st floor room next to the stairs. With in minutes we were treated to thunder like runners up and down the stairs. Rooms are poorly insulated and are like being in a drum. Asked for a different room and was moved 5 doors down. Foot steps on 2nd floor walk way echoed thru this room too....

For the cost the hotel is clean and practical, we has a nights stop over on the way to San Francisco and the hotel did what we wanted, got a goo nights sleep, and a shower, the bathroom was a bit tight, very small and compact, but again did its job, clean towels and bedding, there was a comp breakfast...
