It's a typical hotel in the Embassy Suites chain - nice sized rooms, and the complimentary breakfast is good. This hotel had a somewhat barren look inside - didn't have the abundance of plants that many of the Embassy Suite hotels have. It is conveniently situated to visits to Carmel and Monterey, and it's a short drive to the airport.

Hotel itself is pretty impressive. Nice lobby, great breakfast and various drinks and munchies during manager's reception in the evening. Great location. Just a few miles from Monterey Aquarium, Old Fisherman's Inn, Cannery Row, Carmel etc... But....The room was a bit dated. Looks like it's overdue for an update.

As a family of four we were tired of trying to get by in a cramped hotel room. We chose Embassy Suites and had a huge corner room with a balcony and bay view. Loved the separate bedroom, two tv's and wet bar with microwave and small refrigerator. The complimentary full breakfast was great although the evening social hour was...

Excellent location and views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great evening reception and morning breakfast. An excellent choice! We were on a golf group outing in Seaside (Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Courses) and Pacific Grove. The location of the hotel was very convenient and a great value.

Been to this hotel every year for the past 6 years and watched it go DOWN. They cut down all the hanging vines. Same old breakfast: no hash browns, no blueberry pancakes, same old bread. Sweet rolls are always the same. Evening snacks are always the same, drinks are cheaper boos. It was just disgusting. Contacted me 3 times for...

hotel charges for you to park your car in a wide open, unsecured parking lot that is available to the general public. I was made aware of this charge when I booked this room, don't know if it would have matter but I think they should advise. Room & Breakfast was good.
