Nice place. They were friendly, place was clean and tidy. We had a cool room. The only little thing to complain about was how loud the mini fridge was. They had a few restrictions due to COVID-19. The Casino was smaller than I thought it would be. Didn’t have a roulette table but they did have a video roulette in the sports bar. We didn’t get to visit the restaurant.

This was the first time staying outside of Crescent City. I chose the lodge because of the value (based on pictures). I was not disappointed. The rooms are very nice for the price. We had an ocean view, which made it even better. The staff was friendly. We ate here for four days and never had a bad experience. One of the waitresses was so nice we almost stayed another night. We will definitely stay here on our future excursions to the Redwoods.

Booked a suite for the weekend to see the ocean. Suite was nice but both the king bed and hide-a-bed were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! I didn't get any sleep because of how uncomfortable both beds were. The Carpet inside both the suite and the elevator definitely needs to be shampooed as well! A lot of stains that could easily be spot cleaned. The restaurant is also very understaffed! We waited over a hour just to get food after our 6.5 hour drive and the food wasn't very good either, especially for the price. My biggest complaint though, is the uncomfortable beds and pillows, they really need to get some comfortable bedding if they want more guests to stay there, in my opinion.

The good: comfy rooms, good shower. Ample free parking. The bad: location (not much else close nearby for meals and a bit out from the redwoods). The carpet was stained throughout but especially in our room. Meal in the restaurant was decent.

We stayed for 2 days. The first day the maid forgot to clean our room. The casino supervisor came up and emptied the trash containers, gave us new towels, and toiletries. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The casino was fun and practiced Covid19 guidelines. Covid19 is making restaurants that are not set up for takeout to lose their food quality. The food at the restaurant is not good. Takeout is just not working!
