After discovering Hadsten House last year we came back this year to use it as a base for Wine Country explorations. A great little hotel that has been imaginatively put together with great attention to detail. Happy days.

This place is an absolute gem! I'm so glad we stayed here - it beats many of the 5 star hotels that I've stayed in and I would definitely come back here again and again and again. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely touches. Everything was really clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff is really friendly...

My wife and I stayed at the Hadsten House for a quick one night getaway from Los Angeles on 5/20/2010 in order to attend a concert at the nearby Chumash Casino. Although our stay was only from about 3PM on a Thursday to noon the next day, we were so pleased with the Hadsten House, we are hoping for more...

Stayed for a week. The rooms were vacuumed every day, excelent housekeeping and grounds staff. Nice turn down service, left little goodies from the spa each night. Full breakfast with attendents that did a very good job with beverages etc. It would have been helpfull to have an information book in the room with hours of breakfast, wine & cheese,...

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Hadsten House - and we loved everything...from the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out. The front desk attendant is so helpful, the dining experience was so yummy, the breakfast is more than you can ask for, and the wine and cheese reception at night is the added...

My girlfriend and I spent two nights, and let me tell you, these folks know how to treat their guests. We found a really good deal on travelzoo.com, and enjoyed complimentary wine tastings, hot breakfast buffet, evening wine reception with appetizers, turn down service, etc. It was FABULOUS!!! We were able to check in early, and the little added touches...

Was looking for a relaxing getaway somewhat close to home to spend a few days with my teenage daughter for my birthday. Found Hadsten House online and am so pleased with our choice! Even with somewhat bad weather we had a wonderful time. The owners took the bones of a basic, low-end motel and redesigned it into a very nice,...

From the outside this place looked like a normal but acceptable motel. Inside the rooms and the restaurant were really pretty, very modernist, and awesome. the service was great. A lot of places in the area are much more expensive and we loved this super cute room. Everything in downtown Solvang is walkable from here.

My fiance traveled to Solvang from LA this weekend for a nice, quiet get away in order to relax. I was impressed at first site, as I entered the lobby and as I entered our guest room. However, sleeping in was difficult due to the light coming in through the louvered window coverings, children running up and down the second...
