This was such an amazing experience, that far exceeded all of our expectations. It´s fair to say that my husband came along to humour my daughter and I but even he said he had the best time ever - it wasn´t just about horse riding! We were lucky enough to be with a group of great people which was just...

A hearty thanks to Heidi, Doug and the whole crew (Kigo, Kobe, mike, Brock, Olivia, Peter, John, Aaron, and more)for an amazing week. So much to see and do, they kept us busy all week. We particularly loved the variety of activities every day. Arena skills and competitions were so much fun. The trail rides were breathtaking and the horses...

Great food, beautiful scenery, awesome time, thank you Doug and Heidi!!! Loved the raft trips and your great wranglers, they helped make the experience very memorable. PS Heidi makes the best pineapple upside down cake in a cast iron Dutch oven over a camp fire.

Our family ranged from ages 81 - 6, and each one of us had a fabulous time. The ranch is lovely, and the activities keep you busy. Our favorite memories include early morning trail rides, cantering in the arena, shooting clay pigeons, fly-fishing, making lavender wands, and rafting. My only criticism is we all gained weight from the delicious food--especially...

Twenty-three strong, we held our family vacation with Doug, Heidi and the wonderful staff of Marble Mountain Ranch. Our group included ages 3 to 78 and we all had a marvelous time! Horses, rafting, shooting, hiking, ranch activities, outstanding food and wonderful support staff combined to produce memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you to you all.

Best vacation in the states I've had in years. Will probably go back. Horseback riding, river rafting, new friends, great food. I was a little concerned going by myself. Everyone, staff and guest alike were all inclusive. No one left out. No TV, no cell phone, minimal internet, great opportunity to disconnect. I enjoyed myself more than I thought possible.

The Marble Mountain Ranch is truly an experience your family will relish. The region forces you to pause and appreciate the beauty of your surroundings. You do not need any prior experience in any of the activities to have magnificent time. We created countless memories in each activity everyday. The arena rides were instructional and exciting, safety came first at...

Nearly 20 years ago, I began fly-fishing for Steelhead on both the Trinity and Klamath Rivers. I’ve stayed at various accommodations on the Trinity, but always at Marble Mountain Ranch when fishing the Klamath. Steelhead fishing is usually sporadic and I unquestionably prefer the Trinity River physical conditions to those of the Klamath. I soon found myself oddly apprehensive of...

Well, my friends from Louisiana, thank you so much for your kind review and candid thoughts. Now....the one minor correction, is my name. Dave, is in fact my alter-ego who is currently writing screen plays and studying to be an actor while waiting tables part-time at Marble Mountain Ranch. Doug, however, is that ruggedly handsome stud-muffin cowboy river guide who...

This was the perfect family trip for me. Every day you are busy having fun, learning and challenging yourself with the activities like horseback riding, shooting and rafting. The staff are friendly, kind and caring. I can't say enough about the delicious food, suffice to say I bought the cookbook they offer. They were able to comfortably accommodate my family...

Our family visited Marble Mountain Ranch last summer (August, this review is long overdue). We are from Washington DC and have 3 boys (12,14,16). We had an amazing vacation! The horse riding was so much more enjoyable than we imagined (especially with 3 older boys) the rafting was incredible, and the shooting range was a lot of fun too. Every...
