We spent a night at the Sonoma Hotel last week and were very pleasantly surprised. It is located in the same building as the 'Girl and the Fig' restaurant right on the corner of the square. We had a room with 2 beds on the 2nd floor and the room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The ladies at the front desk during out check-in and check-out were very friendly. The hotel exudes old world charm and is perfectly located. Rates are great especially for this day and age! We will be back.

This hotel is adorable, and could not be in a better location. Sitting quietly on a perfectly charming corner, right on the Sonoma Sq.

When I checked in, the front desk person was very friendly and got me situated with ease. The room was small, but all that one would need traveling by myself.

I had read that they served coffee and a continental breakfast, but that was not what I found. On my first morning, there was a coffee station set up in the lobby, but sadly not on the two following days.

Not sure if they have room service, it was never discussed. I assume they have wifi, but I was never offered a code or any information, and I did not ask. I just used my phone as a hot spot.

Overall a very cute property. Could be an amazing little boutique hotel, but somehow falls short of perfection.

Stayed one night. Great location. Liked historical perspective of hotel. Rooms are small but comfortable. Drawbacks included noise (which seemed to be pipes knocking) and cold shower (we were told after the fact that we should have run shower 5-10 min before using).

We found this hotel on Priceline for a great value for the area (still not cheap). Great location and awesome staff. It had a claw bathtub/shower, super comfortable bed and nice smelli8ng lavender soaps and soak for the bath. I felt like I was staying in a room at someone's house. It had antique furniture, plenty of room & privacy. The only thing that wasn't good was the parking. The hotel does not have designated parking, so you unload on the street & then park the car - which was no easy task. It is directly above The Girl and the Fig restaurant & right on the square. I would definitely stay here again. Very charming.

I visited the Sonoma Square to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.

I did not want to drink at the pub and drive after so this hotel within walking distance was the perfect solution!

This historical hotel is decorated with fine antiques and beautiful art.

My room was very quiet and had Everything I needed. I forgot my iphone charger and was loaned one by the woman at the front desk.

The proximity to the very beautiful Girl and The Fig bar and restaurant is ideal.

Highly recommend!

The hotel is on the square, 3 stories and offers warm cozy rooms. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a view of the square m a charming attic-like room. The rub had claw feet and everything was clean and well appointed. It has a bed and breakfast vibe with hotel convenience.

We will certainly be back.

This is a great place. Tim, the owner is super— so nice & helpful!!! He made us feel right at home. It’s a historic hotel so the rooms are all different. The 3 rooms that we booked were all unique and comfy. Great location right on Sonoma Plaza. We highly recommend this hotel!

Typical over priced Sonoma Hotel.
Nothing special about this 1930’s hotel.
No breakfast or parking. Small rooms with minimal amenities. Good location on the square, restaurant attached.
Good bedding.

Fun to stay in this historic spot on the plaza. The hotel and rooms certainly have character that is hard to get these days. We heard a little noise, nothing of significance, but also a Monday night stay. I don't think we would have been comfortable here long term, but really great to experience. Just a note that there is nowhere to store bags prior to check-in.

We stayed at the Sonoma Hotel last week(April) for 2 nights. The film fest was in town, so the town was hopping. The hotel is very old- we like the charm, but the room (#23) was tiny and not at all soundproof.
You could hear a person sneeze at the end of the hall with the doors closed. The traffic on Sonoma square can be loud, and the patrons below at the Girl and the Fig were loud at a pretty late hour. In the room, there was a small writing table, a washstand, an antique queen bed and a tv in armoire with drawers, a small closet with a fan and space heater that we didn't have to use, thankfully. I imagine the room could get drafty.Tiny bathroom with tub/shower and toilet. No irons, robes or hairdryers- though they loaned me one from the desk. They have wine in the afternoons- one white, one red. No cheese or snacks. Good coffee in the morning, continental breakfast which was huge croissants and pastries. I don't eat that way, so I had breakfast on the square. The staff here was very nice, and the hotel and rooms were clean.Parking is off the street, and you may have to park a bit away. You must carry your own luggage up the steps as well. We got an internet rate one night -$99 and paid $150 (weekend) the second night. There are few cheaper options in this area. It was great being on the charming square with all the shops and restaurants, but I will stay in a B&B with a little more charm and quiet next time. IP: Logged

Oh my gosh, I don't remember as I always bring my own, but considering that the sink area is rather limited, I would guess not. Sorry I couldn't be more definite.
