Beautiful historic hotel very well maintained. Room very nice. Bed was great, God know how many hours I slept and rested. Bathroom gorgeous. Breakfast ok, served in the lobby downstairs, not in a separate dining room. Great location in one of the corners of the main square in Sonoma. Only thing to consider: no elevator, so take this into account...

This is a great historic hotel with comfortable beds. Loved the coffee, orange juice & delicious pastries in the morning and happy hour wine in the evenings. If you come here to watch TV in your room, you should reconsider & read a book. Location is A++ for visiting great restaurants & shopping. The staff was friendly, helpful & personable....

The hotel is so quaint and lovely. The beds were so comfortable. We were on the second floor and directly above the Girl and the Fig restaurant..... We slept soundly and never heard noise from the restaurant. The entire staff has been extremely helpful making our stay very enjoyable. The complimentary pastries were delicious! It is so convenient to all...

I'll keep this very simple... 1. This hotel is very cool and made for a very romantic setting right in the heart of downtown Sonoma. 2. Complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning and great wine in the evening in the lobby with guests and staff. 3. Hotel staff was friendly and shared with stories and history about the hotel...

We were going for quaint and close to restaurants for one night traveling with 2 other couples. I am embarrassed that it was me who chose this hotel based on the pictures and information. Everything was "just okay". The tv was 25 years old and not at all sharp, but it did get 3 channels! The deal breaker was there...

Wonderful hotel, great staff, cozy & comfortable, clean, with lovely free wine at 5 PM and free pastries from the BEST bakery (Basque Baquery on the plaza) each morning. Just DO expect it to be what it is: an amazingly located historical hotel, meaning that the walls are thin & windows allow a lot of street noise, esp. delivery trucks...

You step back in time as you step in this hotel! The people were very nice and it is walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and historical sites. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Thin walls in this old hotel and a noisy early riser next door woke me up but I went out and explored. Really...

It's my first time writing a review on trip advisor, but i had never been in a hotel where no one ever said "hi" to me or even bothered to say anything to me and my family until I stepped foot inside of Sonoma Hotel. During check in, the lady just asked for my credit card, I literally had to...

Stayed here for one night, it has a fab location. Our room was nice, and we ate in the adjoining restaurant which was great. The only thing is that there is no soundproofing in the rooms, you can hear everything which is going on next door. Which isn't great when you want a lie in but are woken by the...
